I wouldn't change a thing. They are classic. Seems like the teams changing their unis don't have much tradition. Look at the teams that still have classic unis: SF, PIT, DAL, WAS, etc.

Yea Dallas jerseys are weird bcuz the pants are more of a greenish color instead of silver. And the blue stripes on the sleeves are differnt colors than the blue star.. Really odd

Get your HDTV calibrated.

But seriously, The unis were just a mix-and-match of jerseys and pants that the team had laying around in the equipment room. Did you see Bidwell? He jersey clearly showed the wide yellow and white stripes on the sleeves that match the same stripes on the burgandy pants. Yes, I know most players are wearing the elastic cuffed jerseys so it's not noticeable but, the stripes on the gold pants (and socks) clearly belong with another jersey. In my opinion, DALs unis are clean. Standard numbers without outllines match the players' nameplate and the numbers are on the shoulders instead of on the sleeves. That's why the 70th anniversary unis were so nice.

^ (you're probably joking)

No, Dallas does wear green pants and none of the blues match throughout the uniforms.

I always thought this but never heard anyone else mention it.

The real reason they did it was: in the 1970s, the colors did not show up accurately on TVs back then, so they started using the silver-green (real name of that color) pants to make them look better on TV.

However, those days of bad TVs are long gone and they still use that trainwreck of a uniform.

I have no valid explanation for trying to use every shade of blue known to man in the same uniform, but that's the reason behind the green pants.

Yea and with HDTV's now a days everyone can really see it. Weren't they supposed to change the color of the pants this season as a result?

Yeah, they were supposed to change to all silver and navy...two UNIFORM colors.

There was a even whole thread about it on CCSL but it never happened.
