I think they have hit the "wall" in terms of season length. If the NFl really wanted to increase profits, they should do what every other industry has done and that is to slash expenses and maybe salaries across the board. The hype machine the NFL has become is really unecessary. Rozell did all the league had to do to win over America. I think the game should and can sell itself, because it already has in the past. NFLPA director: Union reviewing Philadelphia Eagles' response to Kevin Kolb, Stewart Bradley injuries - ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5568272) I was a bit shocked to see Bradley back on the field after the way he went down with that concussion. I'm surprised this hasn't garnered more attention in the media.
