Ruhskins 09-12-2010, 09:10 PM Ok maybe Kolb hasn't lost his job..... Yet How bad is his concussion? MTK 09-12-2010, 09:13 PM Total bullshit!!!!!!! Calvin had clear possesion, but because he put the ball on the ground after he landed they said it was incomplete. He still had it in his hands when he brought it down, but released the ball as he was getting back up. Just another cheap rule in which the refs can change a game. Same rule that we benefited from in that playoff game in Tampa a few years ago. Gotta follow through all the way to the ground. Sucks but that's the rule and it was called correctly. tryfuhl 09-12-2010, 09:20 PM should be the same for running.. ball crosses plane then the obvious 2 feet down at that point/showing possession it should be a TD Monkeydad 09-13-2010, 01:57 PM Vick has won his job back Yeah he looked good. I knew he'd take over at some point in the season, but I didn't expect the "upgrade from McNabb to Kolb" experiment to go down in flames in the first game. The Eagles were going to end up kicking themselves sometime this year...but week 1? Love it. :food-smil Monkeydad 09-13-2010, 01:59 PM Ok maybe Kolb hasn't lost his job..... Yet The league doesn't let players with concussions just jump back into action any more...could have a few weeks for medical clearance. In the meantime, the rabid Philly fans will turn on Kolb like they did McNabb. OK, gotta do it: 8BTej926Pvo kBJEfmQA9q4 Monkeydad 09-13-2010, 02:25 PM Here's Donovan's take on the Philly QB controversy: http://i54.tinypic.com/2e2dr8m.jpg Monkeydad 09-13-2010, 03:14 PM Reid's grand plan blows up in a hurry - NFL - Yahoo! Can't believe that guy went down in week one! He's in for a long season if he returns. MTK 09-13-2010, 10:40 PM Jets are really killing themselves tonight with penalties Dirtbag59 09-13-2010, 10:47 PM Vick will probably start next week, but the Kolb will still considered starter, I would imagine, while he's recovering from a concussion. Can't believe that guy went down in week one! He's in for a long season if he returns. Certainly makes a great case for an 18 game season. With all the guys that have been injured in week 1 alone how can they think that adding two games is worth a couple of extra bucks. Also Sanchez needs to at least attempt to go deep. This dink and dunk stuff might pad your QB rating but it's not going to help your team win. |
