Cooley reveals in an interview that Haynesworth has been practicing with the scout team all week.... hmmmmm.....

Redskins Insider - Albert Haynesworth practices mostly with scout team (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/albert-haynesworth/pro-bowl-defensive-lineman-alb.html#more)

Wow, what an awful mish mash of reporting. Look at these two paragraphs, cut and pasted directly with no editing:
It is highly unusual for a player of Haynesworth's caliber to practice with the scout team as the season is about to begin. Cooley's comments confirm that the Redskins are handling Haynesworth, who was the subject of trade reports against this week, atypically.

A team source said the Redskins have used starters, second-stringers and third-stringers on the scout team this week. Shanahan, the source said, utilizes as many players as possible in practice, especially because the Redskins do not have any defensive linemen on their practice squad. Haynesworth is one of seven defensive linemen on the 53-man roster.

How do Cooley's comments "confirm" AH was handled atypically when the Skins have used other starters as well.

Later they say AH got praise for his effort against the starting OL but said it could be concern since we are going against Ware. Again, it seems like smart coaching when you are going against top level opponents to practice against the players who will most likely replicate the opponent. But I have never set it up so don't really know either way.

Finally they end with talking about Tennessee, even though that is by all accounts dead in the water.

and this is OUR team's reporters:doh:

The AH story is like crack for the media and fans. They can't let it go, they must have it, and they'll do anything to bring it up.

I must say, the quality of reporting is terrible. Our radio stations suck big time, and the so call "insiders" all do TMZ-like reporting.

Over the summer, during the football drought, I listened to Pittsburgh sports radio on the ESPN Podcast. It was beautiful the way they cover the Steelers, and this was the offseason. A million times better than the pricks we have on ESPN980 or the rumor-mongering in the WashPost.

but sometimes he thinks things like "Albert Haynesworth wasn't valuable on the field last season."And then no evidence can change his mind, even when it was overwhelming that he 1) played more often last year than in the two prior years, and 2) was just as effective if not more, once you account for effects of scheme.

You know he's not the only one that believes the underlined.
People caught a case of selective amnesia when it comes to Albert's actual on the field performance.
2 local media guys in particular that are on the radio at 2pm have gone to what seems like imo great lengths to paint Albert as ineffective.

Which imo is crazy if you actually watched the games.

So if you take MS' comments on Kyle and extrapolate then on Sunday, AH's play time will be determined by Haslett?

I really feel like the media will be eating a lot of crow on Monday! (well they won't but they should)

I saw that Kareem Moore is listed as probable on NFL.com
That has to be a misprint. There is no way he's ready to come back as of yet

Mosely is honestly just a pain in the ass. We could beat every team this season, win the Super Bowl and he'd still find something wrong with the Skins.

I agree, honestly it's hard to just find such a medium opinion on the team nowadays. Anytime Clayton says something good about the Skins Mosley is right there to say he doesn't agree with that at all. I wish they'd hire somebody who has an objective opinion about all 4 NFCE teams, because it's clear from his days working in Dallas that he still unobjectively loves the Cowboys.

Why is Donovan listed as questionable now? Sort of late for the antics. Anything happen at practice?
