Yea Dirt, people can dog Romo but the guy is a solid QB. He can make plays all over the field, one thing about Tony though is you have to keep him in the pocket and obviously get pressure on him.

Good piece there. I gotta say, Jerry Jones seems like a cool dude. And it seems like DS is letting his collar down a little more these days.

Putting aside my Redskin fandom for a minute, and just speaking professionally...Jones is a great guy, as difficult as it for me to say.

he may be a solid QB, but thats if he has a decent line. I really don't think his O-line will be solid, despite the fact that they'll have some of their starters back. We've got some pretty good pass rushers, pressure hopefully shouldn't be an issue.

Romo has been known to make plays even outside the pocket. Is agile enough to buy himself time. I just hope with a weak offensive line, we're able to get to him and not allow him to buy himself and extra second or two. The Cowpokes have many receiving options, which could be a big minus for us given our LB covering issues and the lack of a true FS.

Cooley and Fred Davis are gonna roast
Brady James, Brooking, Ware and Spencer
None of their LBs can cover Cooley and Davis

We also just have to give McNabb time.. Basically it may just come down to who gets the most pressure.. Both QB's are playmakers

But Romo's skills usually trump that because he can take an obvious pressure situation and leave defenders on the ground in the pocket while he makes an uncontested throw from outside of it.

Has to be frustrating to defend for sure. The both of them, actually.

I think DMac will have a big game.. I just hope we can stop that run game, and for us to actually have a run game again

The thing with Romo is I'm not sure any injuries to the Dallas OL is going to affect the way he plays the game. Romo tends to struggle a lot with the Redskins coverages (at least of old) anyway. And they've always been a major fail running the ball against us. Dallas is in trouble this year if the cumulative effect of additional shots on Romo due to injured lineman actually causes Romo to miss some time. Because Jon Kitna hasn't been a good quarterback since Shane Matthews was here.

Problem is, I don't think our offensive line (which I think will have a very good season) has a shot in this one. I think that they'll (Dallas) give up a few gashing runs to Portis so that they can push the pocket (read: Rabach and Hicks) back into McNabb's face, knock some passes back in McNabb's face, and turn him into an incompletion machine.

It's the kind of game where the teams may combine for one or no touchdowns. 13-8 Redskins.

That's an intentional safety ordered by Shanahan in the last two minutes, for the record.
