Wait. Why are you looking at me? No comprendo
Because you're the closest thing to an insider on this board. Aka if anybody knows what's truly going on in this situation, it'd probably be you.

For the last time it's Redskins Outsider not Insider.
The Washington Post has had zero sources inside the inner circle at Redskins Park since they went to war with Snyder after losing all those season tickets back in the day.
Zero inside info on anything major.
Big AL will be with us, all of this may have been a smokescreen
A smokescreen for what exactly? Not picking on you but I keep seeing smokescreen being mentioned and I can't figure out what the heck all this would be a smokescreen for.
I know everyone loves a good conspiracy theory, but I think most times the simplest explanation is the most logical. The Skins called the Titans, or vice versa, some trade talk went down, the Skins weren't satisfied with what was offered, trade talks off.
Am I crazy here? :Smoker:

Al will be with us unless a team shows up with an offer that blows us away...a 2nd or 1st round pick, which is not likely to happen at this time of year. Before trade deadline is a slight possibility. Next offseason maybe...depending on what Al shows on the field this year. If Al has a great year, we may not want to get rid of him.
I do not think this was a smokescreen. Titans wanted to see what it would take to get him and the Redskins negotiated in good faith.
Nobody on this team is untouchable.

Absolutely. Something as simple minded as that going down? That's not the way things work. It had to be something deeper than just that. Maybe the Lions are unhappy with the way Suh almost ripped Delhomme's head off and are looking to trade for Haynesworth and BA let the story about trade talks with the Titans leak out to press to cover up the real story. Brilliant!
/pure sarcasm.

and 47. Cooley is the coolest player on the team and is a top ten player at his position and #47 is my only good jersey.
That means Cooley is also untouchable.

If an insane trade offe were made for good ol Cooley or someone like Chris Johnson for Cooley....Bye bye Cooley!
Sorry.
