Glad we did not sign him. Looks like the staff is happy with the group that is here. Let's see if Thomas can take the next step. Let's if Banks can be a game breaker. Let's see if Armstrong can continue his splendid play. Instead of always chasing other guys let's see what we have here.

The guy will cost the Ravens only $855,000. He could have easily been a cheap rental with Seattle paying the tab.

i'm happy we didn't get him...I'd rather get a stud in this next years WR class than him. he's got like what 4 years left? maybe less? but this is the deepest WR class I can ever remember.

Unsure as to why people thought Housh was the answer to our problems, he's no #1, never has been.
Good for him and good for the Ravens, it's a perfect fit for both of them.

I think Santana can handle the #1 role, it's just we don't want Joey Galloway actually being the #2. He's 38, he's had like 200 yards receiving in his last two seasons apiece, and I feel the less we have to rely on him, the better. And Housh is easily a quality #2 wideout, even last year in Seattle with their myriad of qb's that played while Hasselbeck was out, he still managed to get to 900 yards receiving. He's better than everybody we've got behind Moss. But all that's under the bridge now that he signed with Baltimore.
With all that being said, welcome back Jsarno!

Flacco has no excuses anymore
was going to say they're giving him every chance to become the Franchise QB

you hit the nail on the head. Altho, maybe the lack of viable options at WR (other than ones that need a walker) make us anty up and pay that 2nd and 5th to get VJ in here..............

I agree...I didn't like signing Galloway at all, so clearly I do not want to see him the #2, I'm still holding out hope that Thomas will win that spot. I wouldn't have minded us getting housh, just that I would no way want him as a #1, nor is he good enough to be a #1. So in that sense, I certainly understand what you are saying.

Thanks man...I haven't had a lot of time in the recent months...although I might have a little more here since I am waiting for surgery. (torn rotator cuff)
