Correct me if i am wrong but i see 3 unnamed sources, then a hypothetical situation of not playing him against Dallas. Any actual Redskin FO that said this?
Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against DallasZerohero 09-05-2010, 05:57 PM Correct me if i am wrong but i see 3 unnamed sources, then a hypothetical situation of not playing him against Dallas. Any actual Redskin FO that said this? saden1 09-05-2010, 06:16 PM If he shows up and plays Shanahan wins. Besides $$$ there is no loss on the part of Shanahan and management as far as what they have been doing thus far. I'm fine with making Haynesworth's life as miserable as possible until he decides to either give the money back in order to be let out of his contract or straightens out and becomes a team player. Should be interesting to see how all this plays out. If he half asses it all the way, he's going to get suspended, lose payday money and the Skins can go after the signing bonus. F*ck Albert Haynesworth, he can eat sh*t and die for all I care. Don't cut that fat f*ck! sandtrapjack 09-05-2010, 06:18 PM I believe some of it may be taken out of context. With a little gamesmanship thrown in. By not "starting" AH, you keep him well rested for the second half when Dallas scores most of its points against a "tired" defense. I'm guessing Shanny is gonna keep AH rested and let him be fresh to wreak havoc against the Dallas front 4. They did not say he would not play, just that he would not start. And that is jsut as imposing too. saden1 09-05-2010, 06:25 PM I believe some of it may be taken out of context. With a little gamesmanship thrown in. HTTR :httr: CultBrennan59 09-05-2010, 06:30 PM All the reports are "Haynesworth is unlikely to start against the cowboys" NOT Haynesworth is not going to play vs cowboys, theres a big difference there. So its no surprise that he may not start, because Shanahan said he has to earn it...Just another slow news day at ESPN... diehard 09-05-2010, 06:31 PM I guess after he steamrolled Faneca, he felt he had nothing to prove. He probably felt bad that he embarrassed the guy. FRPLG 09-05-2010, 11:20 PM Dallas has no prayer in hell of winning Sunday with or without Haynesworth. HTTR :httr: i love it baby! hail! SCRedskinsFan 09-06-2010, 10:53 AM Does anyone else suspect a motivational reason for all this negative publicity for AH? I mean the man is being ridiculed in public on a daily basis. Gotta wonder which way this will go. I think he'll come into the 'Pokes game chewing nails looking to stomp on someone's head. On the other hand, all this noise might just shut him down completely... We'll see Sunday -- can't wait! |
