Unfortunately if this situation is this bad, his trade value has dropped quite a bit. Who'd give us a 2nd round pick for someone that's not even starting with our team.. And is it worth giving up Haynesworth after $21 million for just something like a 4th rounder? I guess sometimes you just have to accept your losses and move on.

I'm still hoping they get on the same page, and Shanahan just buys him a cigar.

He played well against the Jets and against the Bills. Personally, I felt he played well when it mattered against the Cards. it's a matter of Shanahan letting it go and just let the guy play period.

We get it Shanahan, you won, don't need to be rubbing it in every f'ing time you talk about the guy. Ugh.

You are exactly right.
However in this situation the 'inside source' is an imaginary friend of the writer that is trying to get a headline. Did you see this lame article is on the front page of WP on line edition? Must be a really slow news day.
Correct if I am wrong but Shanahan down played it in his interview? I did not see it, but it seems like he did not go off on Haynesworth as the articel implied he would do.
Inside source should reveal himself.
Is vinny in the house?

Seriously, if there's something analogous to describe the Haynesworth affair, it's a swinging pendulum.

^^Two strong willed personalities, something is eventually going to have to give.

I was thinking the same thing watching him on Thursday. Guy was simply standing up half the time and putting no effort into wrecking havoc on the other teams line. After a series or two Haynesworth would have been the last person I double teamed.

I really need to go back and watch.. in some spots you want him getting penetration.. in others you want him just staying at his gap

There's only 1 way you solve this fiasco...

Win!

Do that and all this goes away....

As far as fat Al...You have to play him...
The guy is a physical freak at 6'6" 330 lbs...He has been conditioned under the Shanny regime and will at least be able to play, without flopping all over the field and needing to come out for a breather.

He may not start this 1st game because of huge ego's...

But when Shanny see's the Dallas line and their backups pushing our guys down the field, until fal al comes in...he will then hopefully realize to himself and say...."Damn...looks like I need this chump on our Defense"!

So unless Shanny wants Dallas gashing our Run Defense for 250 yards rushing with Jones and barber....He might want to consider putting in the 100 M dollar man...
even if for only spot duty.

This will end come Sunday night. Shanny does not let him start to maka his point and when AH gets in he shows why he gets paid the big bucks.

On NFL Network they've broken him down over and over and on several occasions they've shown that he doesn't play the defense, he's un disciplined, he loafs and only plays hard on a few plays. When he plays hard he's tough to block. He put Fanaca right on his back the other night. But why doesn't he play hard ALL THE TIME? Cause he's lazy and has a shitty tude. So with all of that he really doesn't deserve to play that much. Maybe a few plays here and there but that's it.

The Dallas game is going to be great. Witten is going to have about 150 yards and they are going to run at will on us while Haynesworth is on the bench.

Boy, Shanny is really showing everyone who's boss...

Can the season just start? Why the hell is the coaching staff's internal discussions leaked to the paper? Shanahan was supposed to be smarter than this.
