So let's say AH is gone, any good NTs in free agency right now?

According to NFL.com:

Player/Previous team/Years in NFL

Ian Scott/SD/7th
Aubrayo Franklin/SF/7th
Dusty Dvorachek/CHI/4th
Kendrick Clancy/NO/10th

That's it for unsigned FA Nose Tackles.

I think Franklin is still with San Francisco. I remember hearing about the 49ers wanting to keep him because he can play NT.

Edit: Yup, he signed his tender not long ago...

So the list is even smaller. :D

Even with his behavioral issues, AH makes any defense better.

Ignore that NFL.com FA list...it still has Campbell listed as a Redskin for 2010, Brunell's team is "TBD".

Figured I could trust NFL.com for NFL news...guess not.

No he does'nt.If he's playing out of position or free lancing he makes a D worse. He does'nt help a team if he's not out on the field .

So you watch a lot of Redskins' football? OK...

Your point is so far from the truth, I shouldn't even bother, but...

*He draws double teams and still pushes the line even when he's not playing up to his potetial.

*By adding him, he created sacks. The 2008 team was at the bottom of the league in snaps. Add in Haynesworth and the team's sack total instantly DOUBLED.

*When he's NOT on the field, the offenses are able to double team Orakpo or someone else, minimizing not only that player's impact, but the entire defense's.

He may be an unlikable person, but he upgrades the team's defensive unit dramatically.

We will know how serious the trade talks are regarding AH on Sunday night.

If he plays at all, then no serious trades are being considered. Why risk getting him hurt?
