Kind of want a feel of some personal favorites of some Redskin players that might not make the roster or could be on the bubble.

Keep in mind...guys like McNabb or Trent Williams are not players you hope make the roster...lol At least put some effort into this..lol

I'm talking either undrafted players, signed free Agents or low round draft picks or even guys who could be on the bubble and get pushed off the roster by someone else. Guys we've traded for, are most likely safe like J.Brown and A.Carriker.

So give me the 3 top players you really hope make this team,no matter what anyone on this board think otherwise. OK?

It can be for any reason,so don't worry about that...maybe you met Buchanan at a car wash and he signed your football...lolol I don't know? lol

Anyways...With cutdown looming today, what 3 players you think might not make the team, but you're hoping by luck, chance, preseason performance or just feel the player is very underrated and you want him to be a part of the 53 man roster?

#3)RB K.Williams
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I like this dude! He plays with a "no fear" running style and some giddy-up when there's space. It's going to be hard for him to make the team with a shanny favorite in R.Torain and 3 pro bowl RB's on the roster, but I'm hoping. I think he's earned a roster spot, but has also played against mostly 2nd and 3rd teamers so who knows?

#2)LB Perry Riley
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I really like this guy from LSU! Haven't seen a ton of him,but what i've seen, the guy is all over the field. Seems to have decent speed and I would like to have his youth at LB for years to come. The good news is we are running a 3-4 and will carry more LB's than normal...the bad news is,there's lots of decisions to be made by the front office. We have a few LB's that will need to transition to LB from D-Line like Carter,Alexander,Wilson and others that might push him out with their NFL experience. But I like the way he plays and hoping he finds a spot on this team.

#1)WR Brandon Banks
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
How can you not like this little guy? Not only is he the smallest guy in the NFL,he was undrafted to boot. He has had his problems putting the ball on the ground, which very well probably will cost him a roster spot. But boy...there's no denying, that when he gets the ball, you have to ask yourself..."Is he going all the way"? everytime he touches the football. I personally think this guy could be dangerous as a WR on screens or reverses for this team. I also haven't seen this kind of Redskins speed since a #28 for this team..who btw..was very little and was always told he would never be anything cause he was short. I can't predict the future and tell you what ,where or how this kid will end up. But I can tell you this...If we cut him...we won't be the last team to give him a shot. And I don't know about you,but I would rather have him on my side putting the fear into the ST's coach, then have him on some other team returning Kickoffs/Punts while Sellers is grasping at his shoelaces trying to catch him. I would sacrifice the 2 I have above...if it meant to keep this kid...But as we all know too well....our Redskins have a way of letting the good one's get away...Akers,Keenan McCardell,Pierce,Clark....I could go on and on...Lets not regret letting this kid go..please? Cause if we keep him....I believe he will be a threat to score anytime on the field. :httr:

Banks, Austin and Armstrong. They're all very fast, other than Banks who has the case of nervousness they can all can catch. I mean, the performance of these guys thus far makes me disgusted with that of Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly.

When its all said and done Devon Thomas will have more yards and catches than Joey Galloway. You can take that to the bank.

I too like Williams (http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-locker-room/36506-keiland-williams-chances-as-3rd-rb.html), if for no other reason he's a rook & was largely considered an underachiever in college, after being a major HS recruit. Maybe he just needs the pressure of working for a job to be his best?

My other 2 would be Jarmon & Austin. Jarmon is just too talented to let go. It looks like he's caught in between positions, they had him at LB & DE. He could play DE in the 3-4 but he lost weight in the offseason.

Austion looks like he has a good chance to make the team. He seems to have good hands & I think will have more long-term value than Banks.

Players who I think we need to keep and put on the 53 man roster
1. Austin- He can play SPT and he shows he can run routes and run after the catch.
2.Justin Tryon- He has gotten better every year and has hands to make a int. I like him over Byron Westbrooke.
3.K. Williams- looks better than Parker and Torrain, he has nice hands out the backfield. He also has nice size could be a project for the future but should be the 3rd RB.
4.Brandon Banks - His return ability and big time speed give us a legit game breaker in the return game. He can play WR if needed and has the speed to take from any where on the field.
5.Jeremy Jarmon- He got jerked around on the off season asking him to lose weight to switch to LB and then gain weight move to DE. And not to mention he was rehabing from his injury last season. He is young and has talent like to keep him and let him develope. Vonnie and Philip are older vets that will not make through a entire season.

Sorry gave more than 3 guys but I rather keep young more athletic speedy WR than a 38 yr old injury prone Galloway.

I agree Darrel Young has looked great since he converted from LB position. Is he playing SPT? Mike Sellers is getting up their in age.

Please cut Banks. I would be scared shitless to see him on returns. He's just not ready yet.

I agree. The guy will singlehandedly lose games for us. He's the one player I absolutely want us to cut.
