That team has got to win an impactful game at some point. They got straight up waxed. tryfuhl 01-04-2011, 12:50 AM Yep.. we can never win against a big opponent away from home KLHJ2 01-04-2011, 12:58 AM Another Va Tech fail. Angry will say I'm just a hater, but come on. That team has got to win an impactful game at some point. They got straight up waxed. I'm here to take my lumps. We got outplayed by Stanford. They were truly the better team. I honestly did not believe that they were that good. It was their year. We'll still be in the top 25 this year and finish in the top 25 the next and again the year after that. The thing about consistensy is that we will be there. Our next legitimate shot at a national title is in 2013-14 though. saden1 01-04-2011, 01:33 AM I'm here to take my lumps. We got outplayed by Stanford. They were truly the better team. I thought it was going to be a good show but it turned out to be a Luck feature film. If you thought it was Stanford's year wait for the Duck show. Chico23231 01-04-2011, 08:36 AM Beamer just cant win the big game. Hats off to Stanford they were the better team last night, probably could be the national champions if college football would grow a pair...until then second tier sport firstdown 01-04-2011, 09:36 AM I'm a VT fan but I have so much fun ragging on my friends and family who are diehard VT fans. They are what they are and until they find a new O cordinator they will never win a big game. Chico23231 01-04-2011, 10:36 AM I really want to see Jim Harbaugh come up to the big leagues. Too good of a coach, one of a handful that could handle it. GMScud 01-04-2011, 12:22 PM What a disaster. I thought it was going to be a good show but it turned out to be a Luck feature film. If you thought it was Stanford's year wait for the Duck show. You sure have all your eggs in that Duck's nest. You're the only person outside of Eugene that I've heard have such an absolute stance on this game. To think Auburn has no chance and will get blown out is hogwash. They've beaten Bama, Arkansas, LSU, Miss St... Aside from Stanford, who has Oregon even played? I remember in 2006 when nobody thought a one loss Florida team had a prayer against Troy Smith and unbeaten Ohio State. A 41-14 beating later... saden1 01-04-2011, 02:47 PM You sure have all your eggs in that Duck's nest. Stanford was had for lunch, no need to play anyone else as evident by the coaches poll. You will see it first hand in a week or so. BTW, I was one of the few who thought the Gators would handily defeat the always hyped Buckeyes. |
