You can say the same thing about Oregon but there they are, number one in the coaches poll. It's not TCU's faul their conference is "weak." What I do know though is they dominate all the "weak" teams including the then #5 team in the country.
Oregon played Stanford, Arizona, and the rest of the pac 10 TCU barely beat Oregon St and SDSU

Oh, if we're going to knock teams on barley beating teams how about the Ducks barley beating a Cal team which was rolled by Oregon State 35-7? Give me a break, TCU can go toe-to-toe with any team form SEC or Big Ten or Big 12 or whatever other "competitive" conference you throw at them.

TCU is good no doubt. Top 3? Not buying it.

Hopefully when they blow out whoever the BCS folks throw at them you will buy it and then try to resell it.

Unless they are playing a MWC team there will be no blowout.

TCU is legit. auburn barely beat a crappy clemson team in overtime. they barely beat miss state who is nothing special. oregon barely beat a crappy cal team because of a false start on a field goal. they barely beat a bad kentucky team. so im not buying that argument against TCU that they squeaked by a few teams. they are a very good team. all of the top teams just squeaked by against marginal teams. is TCU's SOS weaker than the SEC's? yes. but they are still legit imo.

I couldn't agree more. TCU is very legit. It helps that they make their home in the recruit-rich land of Texas. But yeah, they are very balanced.

Florida is USC of last year... talented as hell but inexperienced and at times poorly management. I don't think they will be that much better next year considering the competition in the SEC.
I'm a Duck fan because a) I like their gear and colors, b) how they play, c) I fcking hate the Huskies and their fans and d) because the Ducks are the team Huskie fans hate the most. They are my adopted team and seeing how I have been year for almost 10 years am entitled to have one. I am also a VT fan but after coming out west and not being able to see much of VT games I had choose a west coast team to root for.
I'd be stunned if Florida doesn't take a big step forward next year compared to this year.
I'll give you this, Oregon is fun to watch. Their offense is legit, that's for sure. I have no problem with that team at all. I like Chip Kelly.
I also think you're underestimating Auburn. They've beaten 5 top 25 teams this year, including Arkansas, LSU, and Bama. They're battle tested and have the best player in the country under center.
I think that game will be a treat to watch, provided Auburn doesn't slip in the SEC Championship game.
