In one of the weirdest moves of the preseason, the Washington Redskins (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/wsh/washington-redskins) traded a conditional draft pick for linebacker Hall Davis (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=13349) on Monday and then released him after one practice (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/strangest-cut-of-all-hall-davi.html) Tuesday. Davis was a seventh-round pick for the St. Louis Rams (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/stl/st-louis-rams).
