(sigh) I had hopes (not high hopes, but hopes) that he would be a contributor this season especially after Kyle sought him out shortly after getting here and telling him that he thought he would be a weapon and looked forward to working with him. Bottom line is te kid is just freaking fragile!! I'd hate to say cut him and see him get healthy and produce somewhere else but at this point I'd be just as fine with a release as I would with an IR stint.

Just cut the guy already
Agreed, unless we can get another teams conditional 6th round pick for him. I have no clue what he adds to our roster?

Whatever... I've moved on, it's time the team did also. He goes somewhere else and does well good for him and his new team.
Agree with Matty, Bryant is not a real upgrade over what is here already.
And besides he is hurt as well.

We will rue the day Cinci took TO, but no need to pile up the mistakes and take bryant.

Wasted 2nd round pick. Only Look-inna-my-eyes Vinnie would make three picks in the 2nd round, all on the receiving end. Moron!

Actually I still say that this was a good use of those picks (old debate I know). Look, we got a starting TE (having 2 is NOT a bad thing), a serviceable WR, and a Bust. If we had spread the positions around, maybe we get 3 busts the way Vinnie picked, but at least now we got some value out of the round.
Oh, and every team can point to wasted 2nd round picks in their draft history. 2nds are never a lock.

He seemed like a good guy. There are a lot more guys who've made serious dough and wasted higher draft picks that didn't contribute much. He's made pennies compared to them. He's also a positive influence to Trent Williams off the field.

WRs should be:
Moss, Galloway, Thomas, Armstrong, Banks, Austin.
I was unsure on keeping Kelly or cutting him and keeping Austin before...because of Kelly's potential...but now it's just time to let go of him. He's had a lot of chances.

Sub R. Williams for Banks.
