I don't think he is, but who knows? He might be thinking Rex would be good enough to pull it off. Thing is I am wondering if the crappy play by Dallas isn't one big mind screw in itself. I just can't fathom them looking so piss poor.
I can. They have been in training camp for an entire month, doing 14 hour days and have only had one day off.

Add in the fact that Jerrah split camp between two geographical locations, in different time zones no less just so he could sell a few friggin tee-shirts, jerseys and ball caps.

I did not even watch the game against Houston on Saturday evening, I already knew before kickoff that Dallas would have one thing on thier mind, not the game but the fact that after the game they finally get to go home and sleep in thier own beds.

Thier camp started a week earlier than the rest of the league and just wrapped up on Friday. Then that game on Saturday. All they wanted to do was get out of there injury free and go home that night.

McNabb will play. Not worried at all.

He seems to be walking around just fine. If the injury was severe he would be on crutches.

You stole my words by about three hours.

Has anyone or does anyone remebering hearing if it is just a bad sprain or a dreaded high ankle spain? I remeber hearing about him in a boot and then a air cast, but everyone made it sound like it was precautionary

I remember when we played in the HOF game a few years back, we had the same sort of issue. Of course, it didn't get any better, as at the end of the year when we collapsed, one thing everyone talked about was the extra time the HOF game added to our schedule. And then you guys also have a very early bye week. Overall, I think you will struggle more than expected, especially if you have to rely on backups along your line.

I never want to take too much from a preseason game. to add to your point, Houston had a big crowd of rowdy fans for a preseason game. It had the feeling of a regular season game & they responded to their fans.

With or without McNabb I'm very concerned about T. Williams blocking Ware. I see some help coming his way, which creates other one on one pass rushing opps. Dallas should be pretty tough in that area.

If I was a dallas fan I would be a little concerned about the way Romo answered questions during the game on the sideline. He sounded very unsure of himself & he is usually pretty quick witted w/reporters, especially in such a meaningless game. I got the sense that things weren't great w/them, but it might just be a reflection of 1 bad night. The romo & felix jones talks didn't look good either, might be some friction there.

I will really be worried if Rex is our starter. I noticed friday night that it seems he can put the ball on the money in the middle of the field. But rush him or make him go to the sidelines & he puts it in traffic a lot. His accuracy was like night and day when comparing the middle of the field to the sidelines.

Translation - McNabb still can't figure out the offense. I don't want to embarass our prize acquisition on national TV against our hated rivals. When he catches up he'll be back on the field.

If he can't figure out the offense sitting out certainly isn't going to help him catch up.

Maybe Shanny has him running the offense in Madden 2011...

Anyways just stirring the pot... putting all possibilites out there.

Do agree with Canuck that if McNabb (for whatever reason) doesn't play vs. Dallas, it's more coaches' decision than injury decision. But again, don't think theres much chance he's not under center for that first snap.
