I must say gibbs has no idea what he's doing on offense right now. And why the hell is Ray Brown still in the starting lineup. I too am very disappointed.

I agree, its rediculous. Like seriously, I feel the same way now as when we had Brunell at quarterback. The whole Reason I lobbied for Ramsey to come in was because he can throw the ball hard downfeild. We only took too " shots " and one of them wasent really a shot. Granted we missed them both ( one was a PI call ); so I just dont get it. When its 3rd and 20 and we throw a 5 yard screen.

I'm so upset right now. We completely owned them and could have put them down in the first half if we had some balls on play-calling. This loss, as far as I'm concerned, sits squarely on Gibb's shoulders.

Yes, we had them crushed in the first half, the offense SHOULD have put up 21....instead we have 6. Piss poor.

no blame for all the drops and penalties?

I'm all for placing some blame on the coaches, but c'mon, the players didn't execute either.

12 penalties for over 100 yards today, the penalties in the redzone were killer.

ZZZZZzzzzzzz... while a coach cant completely account for drops and penalties, its still somewhat a coaching problem. good coaches make these things go away one way or another. we have the worst offense in the NFL by far... relative to our talent. i certainly dont count san fran or miami...

Most of those in the 2nd half Matty. We could have beat them in the first.

Games are won in the 2nd half, good teams rise to the occasion late when it's a tight game.

Do you really think we were going to blow them out in the first half and coast to a win?

This was the kind of game where we had to play it tight and give ourselves a chance to pull it out at the end. We collapsed in the 2nd half and Philly took advantage.

Good teams don't flop like that in the 2nd half.

Besides, who cares when the penalties or drops come? Point is they happened, point is the players didn't execute when they had to.

1st and goal inside the 10 and we end up being pushed back to the 35 and miss a long FG, that right there summed up our execution today.

Matty's right that when you're playing a close game, the players need to step up, not make stupid penalties, and not drop so many passes (by my count, there were 7 drops - had they all been caught Ramsey would've completed something like 85% of his passes).

However, I've got to still put the majority of the blame on Gibbs' "vanilla" playbook. I've never ever ever seen playcalling so conservative, timid, and utterly horrible. Gibbs is too smart to run this kind of offense. When is it going to change?
