Once again, Chris Carter got denied. Someone should ask him how does it feel.

Great Career, tough as nails. Nine time elected to the probowl, back when only players voted. So he was voted by his peers. Not an out of touch fan or reporter.
Drafted 18th round! That is right...18th round of the 1965 draft. 1972 NFC defensive player of the year.
Plus a true 70's bowl hair cut.

Can't imagine two more different personalities on a Hall of Fame list than Chris Hanburger and Deion Sanders. The ultimate humble team player and the ultimate blowhard primadonna.

Makes me proud to be a Redskins fan.

Me too. I remember standing in line w/a small football at a bank in Williamsburg, Va waiting for him to autograph it. I must've been 6 or 7, was during the mid 70s.

I really didn't think he would get in, but now that he has it's much more special to me. At least these last few years the Skins' great players are getting their due, nice to have some good news!

Congrats to Hanburger but in all honesty he played well before my time. It's good for the organization and for him but I personally feel no connection. I blame that on age. Perhaps I could sit down and watch "70 greatest redskins" but it's still hard to associate with an era that you were not a part of.
