Rain rain go away come again some other day...
Dude lives in AZ, I doubt he's worried about rain clouds....

My DirecTV goes out maybe twice a year for a total of 30 minutes due to rainstorms.

i live in AZ so it's a must to have the Sunday Ticket .. i'm not going to huddle around my laptop to watch the games .. are you kidding me ? Why the hell would i not want to see the games in HD on a big ass TV .. suck it up pay the man .. yeah yeah Direct Tv has everyone by the balls but ........... they have bad ass programming and more HD channels than anyone ... and they have on-demand .. i feel like a salesman but i'm just giving them some props.
Agree 100% I can't live without DTV, or Sunday Ticket. And as far as the satellite signal.. I had a blizzard last year on XMAS and had little to no problems at all. Why watch a game on a 20 inch com. monitor when you can watch it on a 50" Flatscreen! LOL
The ticket works out to be about $21/wk for the season. It's well worth it to me, I love being able to flip through all the games.

Well, the service will support 720p, so you can watch it on your 50" flatscreen. ;)

I will say the Comcast Redzone channel may be the best thing going right now, I LOVE IT!

I dont know why the OP titled the thread sunday ticket on your laptop - when the application would work on any PC. I have a HTPC and this would be a great solution for me... if it were cheaper.
Fortunately, my brother has Sunday ticket and if I can't make it to his house, i use his sign-on to stream games in HD to my PC, which is connected to my entertainment system. the quality is not nearly as good as watching it via a directv box, but its a good alternative when i cant make it to my brothers house.

Seriously?
It's just a title. Of course it will work on any PC (although it may be limited to Windows).
If someone can't figure that out, they probably are too dense to even use the forum anyway.

You could do like me and patch your laptop into your tv and thus do both.
