You have no basis to disparage their journalistic credentials. Perhaps you're confusing their credibility with their politics? If you want to take on what they say and call them on it go right ahead.

Go get'em (http://www.thewarpath.net/parking-lot/28867-jon-stewart-wins-cramer-showdown.html#post536727)!I don't read or follow RS. And yes their politics are left of the Huff Post.

However, Matty said Taibbi is legit. I don't agree. That's as far as my statement on RS credibility goes. My Rolling Stone-Politics LOL is that it's no huge surprise an article bashing the Tea Party comes from them.

I don't think this is something a legit journalist would write:

The 52 Funniest Things About The Upcoming Death of The Pope (http://www.nypress.com/article-11215-the-52-funniest-things-about-the-upcoming-death-of-the-pope.html)

His wiki page mentions dressing up in a gorrilla and being on LSD for a debate, I don't know if that's true or not, but again doesn't sound like a legit hournalist to me.

I took "Rolling Stone & Politics.....LOL" at face value. As in "they don't do credible work and shouldn't be taken seriously."

Oh, because if that's your definition of what constitutes what a journalist is I take it you don't think Fox News and National Review are legit journalists either with all those flawed characters on their roster and content in their archive?

The article on the Pope was a tasteless on the part of Taibbi but he did come out and admit it was stupid and tasteless and clarified its intent. You are more than welcome to think him a moron but that still doesn't change the fact that he is a legitimate and credible journalists. I will admit it myself, when it comes to talking about Lord Oama and how he betrayed the left I think Taibbi is a moron.

p.s. Vincent Van Gogh was a crazy mofo but was a genius painter.

SS33, you have your mind made up when it comes to RS, yet you don't read it? Not very objective.

Don't get me wrong, the magazine itself is an American classic for music and entertainment. Politics, not so much.

If you can't shoot the message, shoot the messenger. If that's not possible then shoot any ol' random person on the street and announce them to be the awful message carrying messenger. Just be sure that that person is not someone important or related to one.

Look over there -> (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_0kFU7IfPM) not here <-

Here's an article on the Tea Party movement by a real journalist.

Taibbi is not the only one who has said that.

Nothing precludes them from being called morons too.
