Actually never mind. My Dad grew up a Redskins, Senators, and Bullets fan. So in reality the only Baltimore team that he was a fan of was the Bullets. He always liked the Colts and admired the players they had on their teams but he was always a Redskin fan (ironically not much different for me with Ravens) . For some weird reason he rooted for the Phillies after the Senators left, in part because he could pick them up on some distance radio station. However being a baseball fan he eventually developed a love for attending games on a regular basis and he liked how the Orioles continued to play well even after loosing a lot of their players so around 1973 he started rooting for the O's.

Man you think you know a person.

You better make it up next father's day!

i actually thought our preformance wasnt as bad as the ending score with regards to the first team. I thought our first team D played pretty damn well. Offense was shaky...but sh*t it been shaky for the last ten years. I thought Armstrong and Moss played eceptionally well.

Exactly. McNabb took a beating from the Ravens D and still managed over 200 yards in a HALF...would have had many more if not for so many drops by Thomas, Moss, Cooley and especially Fred Davis dropping an easy TD pass. LJ looked like a steaming pile but Portis looked great on a couple of carries, so I don't think we should worry about he O-line, just Johnson. The first-team D gave up essentially two FGs to a Ravens' offense with a lot of weapons. I'm throwing out that fake punt score...wasn't on the D...they had them in a punting situation...special teams failed us there.

Throw out the score...most of the scoring came after the first-teamers were off the field. Of course, Rex proved to be the same old Rex...nice performance LAST week...2 fumbles and an INT this week.

Yes we lost on the scoreboard but I wasn't disappointed in the game, I saw a lot of positives, especially on offense with the McNabb/Cooley/Armstrong hookups.

By the way, I thought there were supposed to me MORE offensive holds called now that they moved the mid-field ump to the backfield? They called absolutely NOTHING on the Ravens...and also botched that fumble call that gave them another FG. The runner was fighting for yards...forward progress was NOT stopped. Even Coach Shanahan was steamed at that missed call.

Lol. What game were you watching? Btw, when your NT is getting at least a double team on every play and is still moving towards the QB, that is typically a good thing.

Yes. Nose tackles typically DO NOT show up on the stat sheet. If he gets 25 tackles and 2 sacks this year, it won't mean he's been ineffective. An impact NT will help others get the stats and stops. It's tough to gauge a NT's talent looking at stats.

I agree with all the points in your post. I can't understand why there is so much negative talk after the last game. Personally, I saw a ton of positive things in the game. We have to remember the skins have a new defense, new offense, new QB and 3 new Offensive lineman etc......... 2 months with all of these changes so I think the Skins are making tremendous progress.
