I said it in the other injury thread, I really believe that we will win this football game. Assuming that we stay fairly healthy through the preseason. We have been so close over the last few years to beating Dallas but have lost due to poor judgment by the coaching staff and the QB. This year is different there will be so much emotion surrounding the team on week one that I would honestly be kinda shocked if we lost that game.

I too hate the cheering of injuries since karma can be a pain in the arse.....

but this will definitly bode well for us if we can stay healthy. Everyone or almost everyone picked Dallas to win the division so this will give us a small edge for the first game.

Didn't the Eagles suffer a couple injuries with linemen as well? It would be weird if we ended up taking the division..... 9-7 or 10-6?

I'm not cheering injuries, I'm cheering the demise of the Evil Empire.

Sounds like they are having a start to a year like we had the last 2 previous years.

I think it's god awful karma to cheer injuries, especially considering what we've been through the past few seasons on the O-line.

That said, I'm not mad that their o-line won't be full strength week 1 in our house. Lord knows our line had to go shorthanded against DeMarcus Ware and Co plenty of times in recent years.

I dont know if it is god awful...but I do cheer piss poor mismanagement and the real karma is when you fail to address obvious weaknesses this is the appropriate result. Yes we know about our past issues with the line, but that was b/c of Vinny and Dans poor GM-ing. Jerrah had an opportunity to draft Olinemen this past draft. He chose the flashy move in Dez Bryant. His Oline on que is now hurting immensely in the second week of preseason. Karma is a bitch.

The Cowboys have done the same thing to their O-line that we have done to ours in the last couple of years, which is nothing. We had a great offensive line in 2005 and 2006, so we didn't worry about drafting anyone new. Then they all got old at the same time and started getting hurt. Our line then just got worse and worse from 2007-2009.

The Cowboys haven't used any high draft picks on o-lineman recently and they are all getting old at the same time. Their all starting to reach about age 32, which is how old all of ours were when they started to suck. Maybe their depth is a little better than ours was, but it is still not good. Offensive line is definitely going to be the weak point of that team this year, and as we've seen, that can destroy an entire offense.

Jerry is still heart broking over the chance to get Randy Moss back in the day and he passed on him. That's why he traded for Roy & drafted Dez he will not let character issues get in the way of his draft board anymore. Jerry in the draft room "F*#k the O-line give me the lying son-of-a b*@#h"

Preseason injuries can go to either extreme; maybe it's a blessing that the guy gets hurt & can heal while there are no games that count. On the other hand, it could lead to a nagging injury that affects them all year.

Even a season ending injury in the preseason has one upside; the team has more time to address options & work a new player into that spot.

All in all, I don't ever cheer injuries, I would always rather beat teams st. up.
