So, uh, Josh Freeman was spectacular for four throws.
Throw the Bucs back into the mix in the NFC South. Crazy competitive division. Would not be shocking if the Saints finished last.

Lol, you wouldn't happen to be buying into a certain pattern with the NFC South would you?
On another note I just rewatched the Devin Thomas touchdown pass. Turns out the Devin deserves more credit then he got for that play. Thomas actually was able to use a head fake and quick cut to draw the cover man outside before turning back inside for the post. On top of that he was able to do this against a veteran defender, not some guy simply hoping for a roster spot. So congrads Devin, you're one step closer to cementing your place on this roster. If I can learn how to upload videos I'll post it.

Ok, my second team if there is one is the Bucs, and I wouldn't even say they are back. If Gruden was still there I would say he'll get it fixed and be back in the mix, but this second yr HC I don't think will get it done. I see possibly 8-8 for the season if that good and the HC getting fired. Might it be a good landing point for the Chin of Fox is not let go in Carolina? Probably not.
I also think Dallas will have a mediocre yr and the HC there be fired. You heard it here first..... I think Dallas and Tampa will be looking for new HC's. Philli I keep wondering about. I keep thinking it's Reids last yr and they keep him around so who knows there. I wonder about the Browns HC. I think the owner is simply playing out his contract but he might be fired or not brought back after this yr also.

I totally agree with you. I too saw the fake out route and turn in for the post. My first thought was awsome job Thomas. My second thought was the position coach must be finally doing their job. Thank god Hixon is gone cause it actually seems like McCardell is teaching the WR's something that Hixon failed to do for so many seasons. Teach. Hell even Armstrong who was a practice squad member last year is now 1st string offense/starter and showed awsome technique when he used his body to shield the defender and score. To me though I wouldn't have given him the TD. I felt he lost control of the ball and fumbled and recovered at the 1/2 yard line, but who cares the Bills didn't challenge.

I agree with you about Armstrong also, reg season that play is getting overturned.I also thought there was a blatant block in the back on the punt return for a td

Yeah, definitely. For me though on that Thomas TD I remember my first thought being that "oh someone fell down" or "someone just blew the coverage completely." In rewatching the play I'm pleased to see that my premonitions were incorrect.

I didn't rewatch the punt return so I can't say but the announcers said Thomas gave a good block to help get Banks open. So I'm not sure. I remeber seeing it live and seeing someone blocking and at the time I thought it was coming back cause it looked like someone ( and I was not sure who) blocked a defender in the back knocking him down so Banks could get around the edge. But again the announcers said it was a good block so I can only think that if it was Thomas then he hit the guy from the side some how. or..... the refs didn't see it. lol.
Either way it's nice to have some things go our way for a change vs. always having something good go wrong.

Look very vanilla on D.
First offensive drive was eh.
First defensive outing was also vanilla.
Second offensive drive much better, McNabb to Armstrong for TD.
Next defensive outing ended with a pick by D-Hall
And now a running TD with Sexy Rexy behind center.
Matty, please BAN the word "vanilla" from the site, except for in ice cream threads.
I know you can censor words. :D
