I watched it and watch it every year. Ryan is one arrogant SOB. I mean he's over board with it. It's nice being confident and all but he's gotta realize that this is the NFL and you're not going to just roll in and beat everyones ass just cause you talk a lot of shit. It's going to be a lot different this year cause now they're expected to do well.

Anyone else get the impression that Joe Namath was a bit of an annoyance to the coaches when he was watching tape with them and breaking down Sanchez and the way he holds his hands on the snap? Even Sanchez seemed a little put off by him.
Sanchez couldn't get the snap when it started raining, I found that pretty funny. JN was just trying to help out I didn't pick up on him annoying anyone.
On another topic Kris Jenkins, (who was a 4-3 tackle and switched to the nose when he joined the Jets) is a pure beast. That was good stuff on those goal line drills.

10 fumbles and 20 INTs with the league's best offensive line and running game last year.
He's a turnover machine. I'm SO happy he's not here. We likely would not have McNabb now either.

I missed this last night need to catch a replay or see if it is OnDemand.
I didn't realize that Sanchez was such a turn over machine last year. With those numbers we may not have won 4 games...

Well, that proves that with a solid O-line, any QB can win. If JC had that line...Pro Bowl. Sanchez was HORRIBLE and they nearly went to the SB. The Jets' GM was like the Anti-Cerrato.

but he was not horrible in the playoffs. the guy was a rookie and only started one full year in college. it's a little too early to judge sanzhez. peyton manning threw something like 28 ints his first year.
I like Sanchez, I think he's going to be a quality starter for a long time. He's just raw, coming out of college he didn't have many starts.

I would say he will be good to go as well.
I think I was more taken back by his numbers for the year as I only really watched the guy in the playoffs. He played well enough to win in those games and I thought he managed the game really well. Also he wasn't losing them games which impressed me for such a raw guy.
That is why those numbers kinda shocked me.

I know Rex Ryan is a cocky SOB, I used to hate the guy but after that episode last night I think I'm becoming a fan.
Oh if anything I hate him more after last night. I cannot stand his pompous mouth. But man, Hard Knocks is some great television.

Really? If I could design my own grandfather he would be in the likeness of Rex Ryan. Just skinnier.
