Glad to see Carriker starting ahead of Daniels. Seriously Daniels should not even be on the team. I think my mom could out run him.
lol you serious man?

San Diego won't let him go anyway, but it would be nice to get him. Imagine: 1. Jackson 2. Moss 3. Galloway/Thomas... plus CC/FD that would be nice. You're right he would be a huge upgrade, this year. Then next year it won't matter when we have NO draft picks and Jackson can't get the ball b/c McNabb is on his butt all the time and the defense can't stop the ball. We still need to build too many positions. Stop thinking short term and look at the big picture. redskinjim 08-10-2010, 10:07 PM I am with Smoot. I just don't put much stock in the depth chart this early in camp. I also would not like to see us trading away high draft picks for a WR who is about to be suspended. this will change in a big way before the regular season redskinjim 08-10-2010, 10:11 PM Not if you saw Torrain running. Makers great cuts, great at finding holes, FAST. Nice to see Vickers at 3rd TE, hope he makes the team, he is a GREAT receiving TE. Huge target with great hands and can beat DBs on routes. Kareem Moore can be a starter, but we have a great backup in Doughty. Saw Reed with a pick-6 on Saturday...Grossman ran out onto the field across the goal line to the other end of the field and tried to chase him down (failed) to prevent the TD. It was hilarious. Anyways, depth is very strong at both safety positions. Quality backups. REPLACE SUNDBERG, please. that is hilararous douty is better than first anticipated redskinjim 08-10-2010, 10:13 PM Glad to see Carriker starting ahead of Daniels. GTripp0012 08-10-2010, 11:41 PM Are you serious?...Daniels is a rock solid run stopping D lineman...yeah he is old...but the guy is a brick house...no way they cut this guy. You are out of your mind.Eh, he can't really take on a block and make a tackle on the same play anymore. He's still strong enough to make contact with the offensive tackle without going backwards, which is important, but also not part of the current scheme. Daniels is savvy, but he's so slow in open space that teams almost don't have to account for him anymore -- as the back can just run right by him. He's not going to be able to beat anyone out in a camp battle, man for man. freddyg12 08-11-2010, 11:16 AM Eh, he can't really take on a block and make a tackle on the same play anymore. He's not going to be able to beat anyone out in a camp battle, man for man. True, PD is slow, but at the point of attack he's not getting pushed back often. He's probably more suited to this 3-4 DE at this point in his career, as he allows the LBs to read & pursue w/clearer angle. Granted, I haven't been to camp, so I'm going off of last year's performance. Maybe he's looking much slower this year. I hope he makes the team & contributes, the guy just seems solid all the way around & somebody we can all be proud to root for. CultBrennan59 08-11-2010, 11:32 AM Are you talking about this? http://www.thewarpath.net/718093-post384.html No, I think it was either in that one new redskins magazine that Matt Bowen writes in, or an internet article somewhere, like foxsports or cbssports.com SmootSmack 08-11-2010, 11:37 AM No, I think it was either in that one new redskins magazine that Matt Bowen writes in, or an internet article somewhere, like foxsports or cbssports.com I didn't know someone else was thinking it also. I wonder if they know something I don't. Mine was totally based on gut feeling. GhettoDogAllStars 08-11-2010, 12:21 PM Glad to see Carriker starting ahead of Daniels. Speed is important for a DE when trying to make a play from the backside. At least he's strong like FRPLG said. |
