ESPN has a long history of giving the Redskins a fair shake since Snyder has owned them. Couple that with the equal coverage of Revis possibly skipping the entire year (on a team that should be much more relevant to the nation than Washington) is further proof that I am wrong. I never said the media shouldn't write anything about him but these jerk-offs who consistently use him as a punchline and say things about him that they would never say to his face are the ones who are gutless. Btw, when a starting QB goes out there is a much better chance of victory. The Ravens won a championship putting out starting QBs on almost a weekly basis. obviously you have never heard the story of how fat al and sean salisbury became pals Sean Salisbury Albert Haynesworth Fight | SportsGrid (http://www.sportsgrid.com/nfl/albert-haynesworth-sean-salisbury-fight/) i still can't beleive i'll be at fedex in 4 days hail!!!! artmonkforhallofamein07 08-09-2010, 10:57 PM That's a pretty cool story MLM. Never has been and never will be. He doesn't have the drive to be a great player. He'll be out of the league in two years. None other than the other "fat ****" Sean Gilbert!! He's getting some great advice from him: The possibility that it could be a long holdout isn't out of the question. Revis' uncle, former NFL defensive lineman Sean Gilbert, sat out the entire 1997 season in a contract dispute. Gilbert, whom Revis confides in, ended up getting traded from Washington to Carolina and got the big payday he sought. Role model: "My uncle, Sean Gilbert, played in the NFL for 12 years. Every step I took, from high school to college to the pros, he taught me what I needed to do. I'm just blessed to have an uncle go through what I'm going through. skinsfan69 08-10-2010, 12:15 AM Well, well guess who Revis's uncle is? None other than the other "fat ****" Sean Gilbert!! Didn't know that Gilbert was his uncle. That thing was a mess back in 97. Revis deserves a pay raise but he needs to realize that he simply isn't going to get 15 mil a year. artmonkforhallofamein07 08-10-2010, 12:20 AM Well, well guess who Revis's uncle is? Some where Cerrato is thinking if he could have just traded away our entire draft to get Revis we would have been won the Super Bowl. The Ravens won a Super Bowl by playing just not good but "Great Team Defense"......not cheap or dirty football .I suggest you go back and see how many QB's they really did knock out of a game . Monkeydad 08-10-2010, 10:20 AM I was at camp on Saturday for Fan Appreciation Day. He came out in pads with the rest of the team at 10:30ish a.m. I was at the field at 9 a.m. and there were NO players out there, so either they had him outside at sunrise or they did it in the hallways inside the building...I guess they didn't want him to fail in front of a massive crowd. :D It was good to see him participating though. Fans were mocking him the entire time, but he was out there. |
