AH will be the fan favorite to hate. Regardless of how many 4th and 1's he stuffs, or how many sacks his teammates put up. Each time he goes down on his knees some hater will post in the game day thread how we shoulda cut him.

I think he's a big baby. But i know what we got when we signed him. I didn't turn on him through this process, and i wont turn on him when he takes every 1/4 play off. Because those other 75%, he is going to be better than any two guys trying to stop him from penetrating the backfield(that's what she said).

I hope that he excels.

So do I. Haynesworth dominating would be great for our beloved Redskins. I just can't stand the guy. But winning changes a lot.

I could still see him traded by the deadline if a contender has a big need for a 4-3 DT.

Now it seems a lot less likely. Unless someone gave us a 1st rounder, i mean. Plus, DT/NT is a position that can be plugged for a year.

I think he's with us for atleast 2010-11.

Isn't that why we gave him a truckload of cash! Big guy better get it.

This is one of the more ignorant posts I've read in a while. Sure, there are plenty of folks in the media who suck, but to pigeon-hole all of them with these generalizations is pretty weak. Just because Haynesworth could kick their asses, they shouldn't write anything about them? Ummm, by that rationale, there would basically no sports media in America. Most pro-athletes could beat up most media folk.

It's not a secret that Haynesworth isn't exactly a good guy. When he signed the biggest contract ever for a defensive player, he put himself under a big microscope. God forbid he toe the line. While I do think the media made it a WAAAY bigger deal than it really was, to say it was out of jealously is plain silly.

And then you finish it up by basically hoping that Haynesworth draws 15 yard penalties taking cheap shots in every game we play this season?

You are right Scud. ESPN has a long history of giving the Redskins a fair shake since Snyder has owned them. Couple that with the equal coverage of Revis possibly skipping the entire year (on a team that should be much more relevant to the nation than Washington) is further proof that I am wrong.

I never said the media shouldn't write anything about him but these jerk-offs who consistently use him as a punchline and say things about him that they would never say to his face are the ones who are gutless.

Btw, when a starting QB goes out there is a much better chance of victory. The Ravens won a championship putting out starting QBs on almost a weekly basis.

I'm sure you'll just think I'm biased here, but your perception is not reality

Yeah, I don't think anyone is scared little Danny. Maybe the reason why Danny is everyone's punchline is because he makes for a good target?

Daniel Synder had made himself an easy target simply by trying to control the Redskins, the roster, and acting as a fan would if he was able to buy a the team. He has made alot of mistakes as an owner, which in turn makes him an easy target fo anyone in the media covering the Redskins.
