Albert Haynesworth sidelined Associated Press ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has been sidelined for another practice, this time with lingering effects from dehydration. Haynesworth was a spectator again during Wednesday's workout. He stood to the side, flipping through the pages of a play book titled "Washington Redskins Defense 2010 Training Camp." Haynesworth had to stop practicing early during Tuesday's session. Coach Mike Shanahan said he didn't think at the time that it was heat-related because Haynesworth "was only out there for about 10 minutes." The trainers later said Haynesworth was indeed dehydrated. Haynesworth missed the first nine days of training camp practice because he failed a conditioning test and was hampered by a sore knee. Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (dehydration) sidelined for another practice - ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp10/news/story?id=5474813) Sure, he could have been dehydrated, but the guy had his problems AFTER 10 MINUTES OF PRACTICE YESTERDAY. It's almost impossible to have problems by then. It has been relatively cool in the mornings, and the practices start at 8:30am. Seriously?? If he was dehydrated, he should feel better in about 1-2 hours after getting fluids. If he was really pushed (ie. at the end of the day), he could actually get muscle soreness that could last for several days (lactic acid buildup in muscles). BUT, that wasn't his case, because again, HE COMPLAINED OF PROBLEMS 10 MINUTES INTO THE PRACTICE. SmootSmack 08-18-2010, 10:25 PM I'm just going to say this...there was no curfew for the players on Monday night. So...a lot of guys were "dehydrated" yesterday. Some more than others GusFrerotte 08-18-2010, 11:59 PM Making something out of nothing. IF AH doesn't make an ass of himself before and at the start of camp this would be a one sentence blurb in the Post or any Sports section in the papers or on the net. THe drama for the most part is over with, but anything AH does that can draw ire will. All it means is that camp is pretty lame, not much controversy or injuries to really report on. Ruhskins 08-19-2010, 12:05 AM Really? Why can't it just be what it is? Get used to this all season long, bitchy fans complaining about every single little thing this guy does. MTK 08-19-2010, 12:07 AM Get used to this all season long, bitchy fans complaining about every single little thing this guy does. Ugh seriously, so annoying |
