Glad to see him doing well and getting a fresh start. I'll go out on a limb and say he will have be a very good year and take the Raiders to the playoffs.

I hope so. I wasn't a big fan of his performance while he was here, but he was clearly a class act. Wish him nothing but the best.

I get his frustration but he didn't prove himself as franchise material.. then again not many do

It makes a difference when the team ownership wants you as a QB. Maybe that confidence that he never had here in DC will get him over the hump.
But, water under the bridge, I hope he succeeds. (And I hope this doesn't turn into a Campbell bitchfest, Lord knows we've had enough of those)

I'll go out on a limb and say your completely off your rocker. not only will the Raiders not break .333, but Campbell will stink it up and Oakland fans will blame the 15 systems he's had to learn in the past 16 years or some other such nonsense. news flash: Campbell is not a starting-caliber NFL qb.

JaMarcus must have been really, really bad for Asomugha to say that. And Gradkowski must have not been too great either.

Yup, talk shit about the guy even though he's not in a Redskins uniform. So much for this not turning into a bitchfest.

This is the least insightful post i've read in a long time. There's no reason to believe JC can't have success in the NFL. He played in one of the toughest football markets (especially for a QB) w/ easily one of the worst o-lines year after year. Very, very few QBs would have been successful in his position.
Oakland gives him a fresh start. He'll improve over last year a little above his historical trend line, which means he'll have a very solid season. And...he's still one of the highest character guys in the game.
...nonetheless our current QB is a super high character guy and knows how to win. McNabb is a franchise talent. Let's all hope he's got a few great years left.
