Shanahan jokes of Favre retirement, "I'll believe it when I see it"
Brett Favre Reportedly hasn't decided to retire (AGAIN)tryfuhl 08-03-2010, 01:04 PM RickMaese Shanahan jokes of Favre retirement, "I'll believe it when I see it" artmonkforhallofamein07 08-03-2010, 01:06 PM Brett Favre is so old, the first time he retired Longtimefan was just Fan That is funny. tryfuhl 08-03-2010, 01:08 PM Adam_Schefter Had Favre retired after season, Minnesota's quarterback this season could have been Donovan McNabb, Jason Campbell or Marc Bulger. artmonkforhallofamein07 08-03-2010, 01:10 PM I am shocked.... thought he would return to give it one more try.. The Vikings will lose 4 games because of the Brett. He saved at least 4 that they would not have won last year. So I would have put them at 12-13 wins I will 8 or 9 wins now. But like SS said I am going to wait till week one to actually fully believe we won't see #4 again. MTK 08-03-2010, 01:10 PM Adam_Schefter Had Favre retired after season, Minnesota's quarterback this season could have been Donovan McNabb, Jason Campbell or Marc Bulger. Sucks but they knew the risk they were taking by waiting on him. tryfuhl 08-03-2010, 01:11 PM Mitch_Tischler Redskins coach Keenan McCardell was 2nd to last player to retire from 91 draft class. Last = Brett Favre Hog1 08-03-2010, 01:11 PM MacGregorESPN Pacing back and forth as he decides retirement, Favre accidentally completes Redskins conditioning test THAT'S..........humor artmonkforhallofamein07 08-03-2010, 01:21 PM I am glad we got McNabb when we did this year. Would have hated to see him go to the Vikings and missed out on the guy. artmonkforhallofamein07 08-03-2010, 01:22 PM Time to lock his but up for the long haul with a nice contract as well. We don't want to lose him after the season to the Vikings as well. BigHairedAristocrat 08-03-2010, 01:23 PM RickMaese Shanahan jokes of Favre retirement, "I'll believe it when I see it" I agree. I don't beleive this for one second and i'm pretty surprised that so many of you are accepting this report at face value. I'm 100% certain he's not retird and 95% certain he'll be the Vikings starting quarterback by the time the regular season starts. Favres love for drama aside, it wouldnt surprise me if Favre saw how much money Stafford got and is just making a play for more money. Right now, i'm predicting Favre comes back with a nice, new, two year, 32-36MM contract with close to 20MM in garaunteed money. |
