I read today(i'm sorry i can't properly reference, like you i read too much 'skins literature), that he hasnt' played 16 complete games but once in the last 6 years. That's where my 16% came in. I think it's entirely likely he'll miss a game or two. He tends to play hurt, so it's not a big deal.

Other than his two injury plagued seasons in 2005 & 2006 he's been pretty durable. He's played in at least 14 games in 7 of his 11 seasons.

Had to know this was in the making. Colt has had a horrible camp, and not impressed Shanny.

Good Luck

This feels like a break-up. I'm crying on the inside.

Shanahhan not convinced Colt could earn a spot. I'm one of the few who thinks he could eventually play in this league. Colt out, Beck in. Maybe Colt will get a look someplace else.

Uh Oh. Bartel has some new competition...

Bartel is the clear starter. They just brought in Beck to keep the competition guessing.

I've heard the exact opposite.

Here's this morning's report:

-- 10:10 a.m. ET

Grossman’s Day
Rex Grossman appears to be having a strong practice.
While his passes are not always precise, almost every one of his throws has been caught.
His best play? He eluded pressure from the right and rolled left. He saw Joey Galloway running a deep route toward the middle of the field.
Grossman threw a high-arching pass to about the 5-yard line and Galloway made an impressive diving grab in front of a defender.
Later, Grossman completed a pass to Ryan Torain along the left sideline. Torain had to twist his body to secure the catch before going out of bounds.
Next play, Grossman rolled right and completed a pass to Willie Parker, who had a step on defender. Parker turned up-field and saw open field ahead.

So the Redskins plan of seeding the league with #2QB's continues. Soon no contender will be without one of our deep moles.

He's played in at least 14 games in 7 of his 11 seasons.McNabb has long been a great player under pressure from the defense, but his style of absorbing their blows instead of moving around the pocket to find a comfortable throwing area means there's going to be a cumulative effect on his body over time.

Missing 4 games in 3 years shouldn't be flaunted around as a positive. We see guys effortlessly string five full seasons together at the QB position. Kurt Warner lost just one game to injury in the last three seasons, and that was with a concussion. Romo has missed just three games in four years as Cowboys starter. Eli Manning has never missed a start.
