From NFL.com, Troy Aikman discussing Gregg Williams
Gregg Williams did an outstanding job as defensive coordinator in Tennessee before going to Buffalo as head coach of the Bills. Now, in Washington as defensive coordinator, he's done a heck of a job. Those guys play hard -- and that's not easy to do when you're talking about a team that has struggled like the Redskins have on the offensive side of the ball and lost games. Brett Favre, who faced the Redskins three weeks ago, said he thought it was the best defense he's played all season. Williams deserves most, if not all, of the credit for how that defense is playing. I don't see him being in Washington for very long. He'll be a head coach again real soon.
From Redskins.com, An Interview with Andy Reid
On what attributes are different and how much of a difference for the Eagles' defense it will be going against quarterback Patrick Ramsey instead Mark Brunell:
"The initial thought is that one is right handed and one is left handed. You have to take into consideration what their best roll move is and so on. We have a lot of respect for Ramsey because of the things he did against us last year. We know what he is all about. I knew a little bit about Mark (Brunell) too. He is a great player too. But the players here are probably a little more familiar with Ramsey than Mark."
On what he remembers of Ramsey from last season's game:"He is a tough kid. He hung in the pocket and he made plays. He made plays with people in his face and he never shied away from it. He brought them back and I thought he did a great job."
