Greatest Movie Villain

So after seeing the trailer for SW: Revenge of the Sith and catching a glimpse of Darth Vader (a personal favorite) it has me wondering who would you guys rank as the greatest movie villain(s) of all time?

I think the American Film Institute ranked Hanibal Lecter as number 1 overall

What about the dude in American Psycho? He was one messed up M----- F-----.

scorpio (farscape) was pretty good...
Terminator 2 had a good villian... aliens, predator... there's some nice stuff out there...

The American Film Institute had one of their "100 Greatest" or whatever on this subject. According to them, Darth Vader was either #2 or #3, I forget, with The Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz coming in at #1.

Hannibal Lector was in the Top Three as well.
