Snyder: Well, the new jumbo video boards are fantastic, they're enormous, and not only are they in HD but they're 3D capable as well. So we're really looking forward to showing something new and exciting at the stadium.

Weisman: And there are other additions to the stadium.

Snyder: Yeah, there's a whole bunch of things we're doing new and trying to make the tailgate experience even better this year. We're going to be announcing shortly some new things that [will] open up the season in our tailgating areas.

3d-ready/capable

No I meant as in everything being 3D these days. 3D video games, 3D movies, and now 3D videotrons at games.

I'm not really into 3D and never have, always has given me a headache for the most part. Is it true that everything still is 2D except whatever is in full focus?

3D has come a long way! I used to be unable of distinguishing the 3D effect due to my eyes and my astigmatism, now I really enjoy them. UP in 3D was outstanding. That said I don't get going to the stadium and watching 3D when I can watch it live (3D that doesn't need glasses!). Plus I made fun of dallas when they did the 3D promotion!

The old school version of 3D gave me the worst headache. The new style of Real D is very nice and I enjoy it.

The new 3D craze is the next step for HD TV. HD is over ten years old now and they have to continue to push the limit as far as tech goes to stay ahead of the competition. Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, and so on are always looking for the next great thing to sell thier goods.

3D is not "here" until glasses are no longer required.

I've watched 3D on cell phones w/o glasses...it's a peculiar experience. Takes some serious getting used to
