that's what i'm saying. he's been tanking it from day 1. Al's going to pass it when he wants to so he has to practice as little as possible while still getting his money and playing time (which i don't think he really cares about too much either).
Albert Haynesworth is not a world-class manipulator. It's about time you stop making assumptions from that premise. He's a naive dude, and now it seems he's itching to pass the test before his knee is ready.
Besides, I'm curious about what exactly in the knee can be "conditioned" like muscles and stuff can be conditioned.
Actually, the above post is actually quite stupid since you only interpret one result without considering other events with regards to the situation.

Just saw that video of Golic doing this. This dude hasn't been training for this and ran it without much problems. Since Haynesworth just had this test on Thursday, Golic couldn't have even practiced this more than 3-4 days. Wikipedia lists him at 265, but I'd bet he's gained a few more than that from the video.
This is not climbing Mount Everest. It's hard, but HE'S AN "ATHLETE". Should be able to do this. Shouldn't hurt his knee from running up and down the field.
Now I agree going into the 2nd week you start to let it go. But I'd say I agree with Shanahan so far. He didn't ask much, and Haynesworth is just embarassing himself. Now how do you glue the team back together.

The Skins will probably pass AH just so JReid gets it wrong ...

I am curious, trying to ignore team allegiance, which do people think is worse, D Revis' stated holdout, or AH's showing up, but failing/flaunting the conditioning test?
Which has a worse effect on their respective team?
Which is more abrasive and/or dysfunctional?
Will either one have more of an effect on their respective team's season?
I tend to think Revis' is the worst, but it is a very close call in my mind. I also think neither one will really impact the team's season.

Charge $ RT @dalison: #Redskins should set up "shuttle course" in fan area of Redskins park during camp. Let fans take it while AH watches. 23 minutes ago via UberTwitter

What concerns me more than his passing or not passing the test is the knee itself. If a 300 + lb. man experiences knee problems just from running, what is the likely outcome when he repeatedly get's hit on it. Is this going to be a recurring problem that limits him to in and out of the line-up for various portions of the season?
If Shanahan decides to allow him to practice with the team despite not being able to complete an endurance test, one has to think he's still not in the kind of condition that would be safe for him to continue without the risk of possible further injury. To me, this has the potential for far more serious consequences than just not being able to complete an endurance exercise.

Both are terrible in their own way but AH's situation is worse cause he already got paid. To me showing up not ready to ball after you've made 32 mil in one year is just the ultimate form of disrespect. It's your job to be in the best shape possible. WTF else to you have to do during the off season? Revis should show up and work it out while being in camp so he's almost just as worse. It seems like the guy is obsessed about getting more than the guy at Oakland. What a selfish dick.
