What's with these posts of yours?

No one is saying Shanahan is impeccable or infallible or even God, just saying, rightly so, that he's the man in charge.

And that actions are beyond any sort of criticism whatsoever and subject to the "OMG, how could you criticize him?!" response It's all black and white. Everything Shanny does=good. Everything Al does=bad.

This may seem weird but I could totally see Mike Florio sitting at his laptop getting ready to post this article on PFT, sitting there cackling and saying, "ahahaha, me, little mike florio, destroyer of all that is good for the nfl, getting ready to once again crush my arch enemy dan snyders' hopes of a good season with one article."

Is like does this ****er even like football? All he does is attack teams and report outlandish shit, or just enjoys reporting bad news. I wish Goodell would ban him from the NFL or something like that.

The saga continues. Either way, if it is true only AH had to take the physical, it could mean Shanny is looking for any excuse to try and cut him and maybe get some of that money back for Danny. It could also mean the Shanny doesn't want to start AH as punishment to show AH who is in charge. Either way it is going to play out with AH shaping up or shipping out. To me we can't really lose all that much. Snyder just eats a helluva a lot of mullah though.

It also can just mean AH still has an attitude and doesn't give a damn since he is still getting paid or he is just a big liar about staying in shape. Like I said before, the saga continues.

The whole thing is a big ego contest. AH did it by not showing up to OTAs, and now it's Shanny's turn. Once they get over this all of this will pass. Don't think there's anything more than that.

Haynesworth did not act admirably during the offseason. At first, I was on his side. The trainers at Redskins park last year were terrible. I understand wanting to do your own thing to get into shape. Asking for the trade after a 21M pay day is ridiculous.

People are acting like a DT should have to run 3 300yard sprints. That's 9 football fields. Shanny said two because he didnt think Albert would ever finish them. When he did he found an excuse to fail him. Be the bigger man, bury the hatchet, and help a stud player assimilate into the team. Making him start with the 2nd string is enough -- he's obviously in shape -- start building a team instead of tearing one apart.

These are exactly my thoughts.

As far as I know MS has 90 or so guys towing the line drinking the Kool aid and deamin' the dream.....AND we have one unhappy Big Al....bucking the system?
Team sports should not cater to the individual but rather reward the...team.
MS is sending a message. Hopefully Big can be intelligent enough to hear that there is no....I in team? Man up, Take your lumps, move on......HTTR

Exactly, what type of leader would MS be if he didn't do something, what would that say to the guys that have done all that is asked of them......for alot less money.

Look, it's Shanny's team, full stop. My guess is that AH took a bathroom break, and the coaches said fine, start over. And I bet they'd do that to any player, though AH certainly wasn't going to get special favors here.

What, should Shanny begin camp by giving AH special treatment because he's so good and such a key team player? **** that. I'm with Shanny 100% here.

I agree that this will be gone in a day or so, but the principle is clear: no special treatment for prima donnas. Those days are over. Time to become a good football TEAM!

I bet you next time AH takes this conditioning test he will take a dump or piss before the test.:Flush:

I honestly can't believe that some of you guys on here are defending AH and blasting MS. The guy has to set an example to the team and it starts with AH. Yes, what he did was make damn sure that AH would fail the test to show him who the boss is.

The bottom line is that AH took too much time between the first and second run, so he had to do a 3rd.

If you guys want another Jim Zorn with the headset on, please move on b/c we've already found out that won't work around here. The bottom line is that if you cross the coach, you pay the price.

It wasn't about crossing the coach it was about AH not being in good enough condition to pass the test. OTA's are not mandatory however if your under contract and the teams highest paid player you should be their for most of the OTA's. AH should have not taken the 21 million if he did not want to play here in the 3-4 defense. Ok so now he took the money and after his teammates, other NFL players and alum roasted him for not showing up to OTA's I think he see's the error in his ways. AH will be fine I think he will be a better player and teammate after this is all said and done.
