I finally made it to training camp -- here are some pics I took.. Good close-up views of Shanny (father & son), McNabb, Haynesworth, Moss..

Holy cow, are you a professional photographer? If not, you should be. Amazing photos...looks like you had a nice spot too.
Puts my photos (see fan appreciation day thread) to shame...but many of mine were taken from 50 yards away with only the stock lens (Fuji S7000 DSLR).
Haha.. Thanks. I was actually standing about 20 feet *behind* the sideline crowd, on the hill. I got a Nikon d5000 DSLR with a crazy zoom lens (70-300mm) when my baby was born. Not a photographer by a long shot, although I take a ton of pics for fun. The Nikon lens makes the pictures look amazing.

The pictures look great, thanks for sharing them.
I found it funny that I think I heard on the news that Shanahan has a rule that shirts must be tucked in or something like that, but Kyle's shirt was half tucked/half hanging out. LOL.

Nice. I'm definitely going to try to get an add-on zoom lens and some filters for my (wife's) camera before next year.

While talking about clothes...who's the coach that wears sweats in August? I think its Bobby Turner.

I think that is Bobby Trner. It is one of the posisiton coaches there have been a couple references of him and his sweats in articles written. I kept reading about the guy in sweat pants, but now I can't remember who he is. May be the Dline or Oline coach. Damn it I can't remember.

Some guy near me said he wears them just to lose weight. :D
It was hot in the sun....he's nuts. Those don't even look like lightweight sweats...they're Eskimo-grade...probably half an inch thick and 2-ply.

Sports | Old school: Redskins RB coach gets Portis duty | Seattle Times Newspaper (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/sports/2012553090_apfbnredskinsportisboss.html)
"Bobby Turner is 100 percent old school, right down to the thick gray sweat shirt and sweat pants he wears at every practice - even in the stifling heat and humidity of a Washington Redskins training camp."
