So Smoot, at this point do you think Austin can make the roster as a 5th WR/Specialist or can he only make it if we roll with 6WR? Whats your gut feeling on the WR situation in general? My gut tells me we'll start the team with #2WR currently not on the roster, although i'm not sure who.

Rooting for him.

Looks like Moss/Galloway, then Thomas. After that who really knows. Furrey was looking good until the concussion. Wade apparently hasn't been overly impressive. Then you've got Kelly, whom we haven't really seen, Austin and Roydell Williams to fill the other 2 spots most likely. I think that his return game propels him into the top 5.

I don't think that Byron Westbrook makes it but it seems as if he's had a good past couple of days. Today he picked off Bartel (and had the whole offensive sideline start chasing him) and then McNabb deep.

Looks like everybody is still ignoring McNabbs pitiful performances.

Is it just me that is worried?

And Davis is continuing to shine. I would not be surprised to see him come away as the number 2 pass catcher stats-wise when the season is over.

Oh and Trent has been sending people to the ground like crazy. Fletcher caught one today.

what pitiful performance? Consensus is that he hasn't looked super sharp. It's been 7 days into camp, new coach, new offense etc. Relax

Carlos is having an unbelievable camp. Right now I'd probably say Fred Davis and Carlos Rogers are the offensive and defensive MVPs

Carlos is going to have his sights set on a lucrative long-term contract. I look for him to have a good year, absent injury of course. He's going to definitely be trying to prove he belongs and should be here for a long time.
