Lets not get too excited just yet. From most recent RI article you linked:

Up until now, Shanahan has said unconditionally that Haynesworth would be a Redskin. Now that Haynesworth is finally showing up and trying to be a good soldier, Shanahan is uncertain whether Haynesworth will be a part of the team. If we look at everything from the past couple days except Shanahahan's comment, everything seems hunkydory. however, that comment opens the possibility that all the "positive" things we are seeing from Haynesworth could merely be a charade orchestrated between the Redskins and Haynesworth to make Haynesworth more attractive to other teams. If he's no longer concieved as a malcontent, he'd certainly have more value.

It could also mean that alot can happen between now and opening day.

I think Feignsworth is owning up simply because the NFLPA advised him to. Perhaps later he will actually fall in love with the 3-4, but now, I don't think he's 100% sincere.

shanahan can say that but let be real here. nobody wants the guy. even detroit, who has the worst defense in the NFL wants him...and his former defensive coordinator is the head coach. lol.

Well, Haynesworth has become the new Jason Campbell. People are going to continue to bitch no matter what, we'll get moronic scenarios where he is traded, and all the team's fault will be pinned on him. So I guess we should be ready for a slew of bitching/PMS'ing rants.

Let's see how many members that were calling for his trade last month, jump on his bandwagon this month.

I doubt this will happen. We have many folks here that blindly hate a player, no matter what.

That being said, it seems that Haynesworth is (finally) saying the right things, however he has a lot to prove and has a lot to do to convince Redskins fans to get behind him.

While it is hard to just ignore what Haynesworth did, I do hope that this situation becomes old news fast. I would rather discuss the team in training camp and things like that, instead of hearing the same overused comments about what Haynesworth did, etc., etc.

HA ! Now that's funny. I would never compare Albert Hanesworth to that waste of a roster spot. That's wrong. I wanted him out of here because he failed and in some cases outright refused to do some things that QB's,...well the good QB's do. Haynesworth, I want him here. No matter how the Haynesworth haters slice it, that bamma is a force. Campbell was and wanted to be just another dude on the team. That's enough for the Oakland Raider. I'm glad Al is here and I look forward to seeing him stop Brandon Jacobs on whatever and 1's again !

That's about 99.9999999989% of the board who wanted him out.
