Next time you think you can get away with just having a few think of this blog and all the hoops you have to jump through if you are caught. Still he should considered himself lucky he didn't die or kill some one else.

Adventures In Drunk Driving (http://www.adventuresindrunkdriving.com/default.aspx)

Also, read the Community Service Day One, that totally blew my mind.

I have driven drunk in the past and I am ashamed of it. Lucky I was never caught or worst killed myself or someone else. I think now with age and being a dad I would never do it again but I was sure stupid in my younger age.

Plus if you live in NOVA and you drink and drive they will get you, no doubt. They are so damn aggressive, which is a good thing.

very interesting. I am reading this.

We all have been in that position, but I have been very lucky like the OP.

Seconded. I lost an uncle to a drunk driver. Have a real problem with it. I'd like to think there are people in this world who've never been dumb/inconsiderate/reckless enough to get behind the wheel after drinking.

No not DUI, driving after indulging in a couple.

I was at once an idiot in HS, and I do regret it. Don't do it anymore.

Anything over .08 is drunk driving no matter how you slice it.

If you are an average male and drank 4 beers (12oz) in a hour you be pushing that .08 limit.

But I hear what you are saying hooskin and have been in the same boat.

My steady fast rule if I have to drive is 2 (12oz) beers and that is it.

Yeah, my friends and I used to drink and drive all the time back in the day, it seemed like no big deal. Definitely one of those things I am happy to say I will never do again.

I remember back in high school the thing to do on a Friday or Saturday night was to load up the car with beer and cruise around town with your friends. Times sure have changed, and definitely for the better.

I am surprised no one has comment on his "community service" work!
