This is a non-story and is really about Dez Bryant dissing Roy Williams, the guy he was drafted to supplant, and less about him being a diva. I have to believe it Michael Irvin asked the kid to carry his pads he would have done it.

Agreed. Whether it would have been Irvin, or Parcells, or the others people have suggested, I agree that Bryant probably would have obliged. The fact is that these two are in competition, and I think it's very possible that Bryant got a vibe that Williams was making the hazing a little personal, which would piss anyone off.

I actually like a little cockiness in an athlete like this. I would have said, from what i hear, Roy needs to carry my pads. And then i would have smiled, and said, i'm just playing.

Which makes my first point. The man can't humble himself and take it like a champ and have some fun with it. He's taking it as this guy isn't going to get the best of me when what Williams is doing has nothing to do with their roster spots. It has to do with him being a rookie, and Roy Williams being a vet as a WR in the NFL as a Dallas Cowboy.

It's kinda hilarious when you think about it. They're both already in each other's heads. I think they're both to blame.

Was Dez Bryant out of line in training camp? | National Football Post (http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Was-Dez-Bryant-out-of-line-in-training-camp.html)

Either way. If we can turn up the heat on them, good. Tell everyone you know that Dez Bryant is a malcontent. We can increase the demand for more more attention being put on Dallas, and that (non-situation).

There's always a cut off as to what you're willing to do but holding pads isn't one of them. In any case, this says to me Dez Bryant doesn't know how to pick his battles. I wish the Cowboys the worst of luck... preferably a zero win season.

He's a rook, he needs to know his place. He's not going to make many friends with that type of attitude.

well considering that he's going to take williams' job i don't blame him. williams had like thirty some catches and made like 8 million. what a joke. that is called stealing. williams just needs to worry about not getting cut. soon williams will be carrying bryant's pads. lol.
