Was watching one of the morning news programs and was a little surprised to see a TV commercial for the club level Redskins seats. Has this been in DC for a while?
I know I let go of my season tickets about 4 years ago, and I still get offers from the Redskins to get them back. I just didn't think they would get to the point of TV commercials.

Im in Richmond too. Ive seen the commercials several times. The theme is the exact same as it has been for the last 10 years, which is big names and WE are gonna win today. At the end of the day The Redskins have to sell tickets so what i see them doing is what i expect and to some degree want. Ive sat in club level once and its cool, but i would never spend the ins and outs of club level money to sit there. I get their emails on the reg (Drunk on the reg, good times on the reg, yachts on the reg, sex on the reg), no big deal but that doesnt make me want to sell out to sit in the 300's

I have been on Richmond TV for 5 years now. It is the first time I noticed the commercials. From what you are saying "noticed" is the key word.

I dont have cable (i havent watch comcast sports net or glen beck in months) and i usually just turn the tv on for background ambiance. So when things like Redskin commercials come on they catch my eye. The beef i got with the commercials is when they say "They got the franchise quarterback" (or something close). I hope McNabb punishes everyone in the division but us, but at the same time im not sold and i dont like the fact taht we bought a short term solution for a division rival.

Club level seats are not part of the deal for season tickets, never have been, you can buy them every year if you want but they dont factor into the imaginary wait list. you have always been able to buy a singles season set of tickets for the club level.

Aren't the club level seats the ones that require a contract of several years?

They are a premium seat, like box seats or suites. Clubs seats are 3x the cost compared to 100, 200, and 400 level seats. You can walk up to will call on game day and buy club tickets. They have never been sold out in the traditional sense.
If other stadiums have a "Club" equivalent, they do not count against sellouts either.

I'm in Tidewater Va. and just last week they had a full page add in the Va. Pilot which surprised me. They have also sent me about 5 things in the mail and several email to get season tickets again.
