Colt is very accuarate, actually, and McNabb will over throw a wide open receiver by ten yards, so ya thats fairly accuarate of a rating.

Landry is a very good strong safety, but free safety he is bad. I think this rating is because madden believes he'll be a strong safety with us.We're talking Madden, not NCAA '08.

Game has been sucking for the past 5 years IMO. Wish they would actually work on things, like the tackling etc. I like that the stadiums are nice and all, but I mean, it's more about the game. I'm tired of seeing the same three tackles for the most part.

Speaking of stadiums, wonder if they'll have the updated screens and party decks.

These ratings aren't very good or representative of where the actual talent on the Redskins is, though the guys who make the game actually have done a pretty good job of projecting the talent accurately league-wide. They could account for this if players could choose to develop low rated bench warmers into starters by playing them, but low rated players tend to stay low rated players.

The Madden game engine is still incredibly flawed and the passing system doesn't scale with difficulty (they make it more frustrating: as your raise the skill level, your players get worse. The defense never gets better). There's enough modern bells and whistles to make it enjoyable for a few plays, but I just can't get into Madden anymore.

Speaking of NCAA, '11 is out today. Anyone else getting it?

Completely agree...bitching about madden ratings is kind of stupid. While they're not completely wrong, think about how many players they have to rate. Multiply it by the number of different things they are rated on etc. To think that the rating is anything more accurate than a +/- 10 of what a player's relative worth in the league is stupid.

Ratings are so subjective. One person's 85 is another's 80. I just think it's fun to talk about. I know some people get all fired up about it, but it's really silly since they end up getting updated as the season goes on.

Well I don't like to look at the Madden roster as the final 53 of the Real Redskins, and it never takes in account the break out players for which none of us know. Also with out Jamaal Brown and without knowing what we have in TW yet this isw more of a fantasy deal then anything of actual fact.

Madden is cool and fun, but is not a very good indication of how teams may fare year in and year out.

Jamaal Brown, is a 91 OVR. i just searched the saints ratings.

This is my biggest gripe with Madden, but I think it applies to the running game as well. On All-Madden difficulty, guys rarely hold a block, break a tackle or catch a pass. It's still possible to dominate, but it's so frustrating when your entire offensive line of 90+ guys collapses on every play.

So, I just play it on All-Pro. I usually win by a margin of 80+, but now it's more about godly stats and than actually winning. My biggest win was 150-0 (against the Cowboys), I have thrown for over 1,000 yards in a single game, and I have tallied 15 sacks by a single player in a single game (all on All-Pro).

Anyone else have some crazy achievements?
