I thought their last two drafts were great.

It's still crazy to think just how bad Millen was there.

well to be fair most teams in the NFL probably don't have very many players from their 02 and 04 draft classes. 05 to 06 it may a little higher. in today's NFL players move around. who is left from our draft class from 02-04??? maybe cooley?

Does Dockery count if he came back?

If you look at the names on that list, it's not like they were drafting guys that were projected to be busts. They actually got some highly touted guys from each of those draft classes. Now they may not have any idea how to coach or use these players in the right schemes. I would say alot of those guys missed because of scheme and being doomed in Detroit.

Some guys should just let their playing days be their legacy.

Does Dockery count if he came back?Well, considering Cooley isn't on his rookie deal anymore, I'd say he has to.

I find it amusing to see him on ESPN as.......NFL expert. I mean if the dude knew an F..n thing about football, would they be in the shape they are??
Chief Z could give far more accurate insight

Millen was a great NFL player and at one point many thought him the heir apparent to Madden as the pre-eminent color commentator. He's a really sharp NFL mind...which is why his tenure in Detroit is such a head-scratcher

Yeah everytime I see him I've got to laugh. I find it funny ESPN hired him to me they loose some credibility.

His commentary is always pretty good to me, I don't think because he was a bad GM it precludes his opinions as an analyst. They are two completely seperate things.
