Alright all you D-Mac fans out there, show your boy some love!
McCants finally got some significant playing time in Sunday's game, coming in toward the end of the 3rd quarter, and looked to be a guy that Ramsey trusts to get open and catch the ball-- which probably has a lot to do with the two of them running plays on the scout team together all season. McCants caught two passes for 46 yards, including a team-best 27-yarder.
After the game, Gibbs said McCants has been practicing well, and will likely get more playing time from here on out.
With Ramsey perhaps being the starter now, how do you like McCants' prospects of moving up the depth chart?
Ramsey definitely seems to have a connection with McCants going back to last season.
He's a big target with deceptive speed. It's good to see that he's finally starting to break through and earn some playing time.

McCants finally stepped up in practice and got some playing time. I guess he must of heard Gibbs talking about how much practice means to him.
Taylor Jacobs also had some good catches in the game. Now the question is, how many receivers are going to play on Sunday? Do we inactivate a TE?
Also, get ready for the "Bench Gardner, Trade Gardner" threads....

Oh Yeah, McCants is the man!
I like Taylor Jacobs and Thrash but McCants is a big play maker. I have supported his career as a Redskin and I think it was a bad decision on Coach Gibbs's part not to place Barrow on IR a long time ago in order for McCants to play. When I saw McCants make the first catch, I thought T.O. had switched teams because he was wide open across the middle. Then he showed us he can do it again. I don't know about you guys, but someone needs to ride the bench as a WR. Take your pick. I am sick of watching Coles and Gardner struggle to separate from the defenders and catch balls. One or two weeks of good coverage is one thing but Coles is not living up to his billing as a 1# wideout. That being said, Gibbs has already stated that McCants will get more time in the future.

No we place Barrow's behind on IR and see him next year. McCants probably hasn't done anything different in practice. I think it was more of a decision to try him out after the poor and I mean poor performances of our 1# and 2# wideouts. If we have to deactivate anybody, it would have to be TE Kozlowski. Chris Cooley leads this team in TD's. Why isn't he getting more play? Why wait until we're down to put these guys in?
Putting Barrow on IR isn't going to have any effect on getting McCants on to the active roster.
If he goes on IR we can add a player to the active roster to take his place, but it doesn't change the amount of players you can have active for a game.

Does anyone think that because they proboly practiced together on the good ol' scout team, they might have a good timing down?
