I am pro cop, they have a hard job...
If six trained police officers cannot restrain and detain one man and instead kill him. They have failed at their duty to protect and serve and are murderers. Period.

I did read that the jury found them not guilty, and as I said, a police department union defense team vs a state prosecutor isn't exactly an equal match.
As for doing their job, I have said before, I was an MP for 5 years, and dealt with drunk soldiers with baton in hand, and no tasers were around at that time. A wired homeless man against 6 police officer, one of whom told him that his fist was getting ready to F him up, is over the line.
Honest question - Did you watch the first part of the video or is your whole premise based on the jury finding them not guilty?

The whole thing is deeply upsetting to me. On a whole bunch of levels. The cops were just wrong. Ramos should have gone to jail, that he did not is a terrible affront to justice and undermines the our legal system.
Bottom line, he was just wrong and it is very hard not to wish him ill.

I'm dumbfounded by this. Never in my life have I ever heard of a firefighter being arrested at a crash site by police while they are providing care. Have these people lost their fucking minds?

The Kelly Thomas not guilty verdict blows my mind. Officer Ramos immediately starts acting verbally aggressive dropping F-bombs all over the place then telling Mr. Thomas his fists are going to F him up. The cop is nothing but an A-hole bully, he is armed and twice the size of the small, slightly built homeless guy he is abusing. That cop needs to rot in jail for life, and put in general population so he can get back the crap he dished out for the 10 years he was a cop. All he got was fired, pretty sure this wasn't the first time he abused authority.
