Apparently, while the cop has received several commendations, he has also been the subject of 16 Internal Affair investigations since 2000. In 2003, he was reprimanded for turning off his dash cam on a stop - on the same stop he and his partner were acquitted of using excessive force (apparently there was no video evidence to back up the perp's story - I kid, I kid).

The cop in questions is now up to 18 Internal Affair investigations, and is still up to his old ways..... Seriously how hard is it to remove a bad cop????


Remember Officer Daniel Harless, the Canton, Ohio, police officer who was caught on video threatening to kill citizens? Well, he’s back in a new video that some say corroborates the notion that he has abused his power and built a track record of violent threats.

Officer Daniel Harless and his partner pull a car over for no apparent reason. After interrogating the passengers inside about their activities, you hear Harless threaten one passenger.

A police officer’s voice (it appears to be Harless’) can be heard saying, “If you scratch you balls wrong, I’m going to pull my gun and I am going to shoot you.” Below, watch the recently-released dashboard video (the death threat can be heard around 4:50):

As it turns out, Harless is no stranger to internal affairs investigations. He’s apparently been cleared of 18 of them since 2001. But despite these issues, Chief Dean McKimm has claimed (http://www.pixiq.com/article/canton-cop-threatens-to-kill-citizen-in-third-dash-cam-video) that “there was no evidence Harless was a problem.”

Cops take care of their own. It's unfortunate but it'll always be like that.

CBS Atlanta News has obtained more than 500 pages of internal affairs complaints lodged against Clayton County police officer Michael Hobbs in the last five years.

Chief Investigative Reporter Wendy Saltzman found dozens of use-of-force reports brushed aside by Clayton County internal affairs, including claims Hobbs is terrorizing citizens.

One of those citizens is Brian Hoolihan. Hoolihan passed out in his car along side a road in Clayton County in a diabetic coma back in 2007. He had a sticker on the window of his car, warning about his life threatening medical condition.

A police report shows Officer Hobbs arrived at the scene and wrongfully assumed Hoolihan was drunk. Hobbs forced himself into the car and struck Hoolihan twice with a closed fist to the face and another blunt elbow blow to his head.

A Superior police officer won’t lose his job after admitting he stole more than $5,000 from fellow officers in the department.

Attorney Rick Gondik, representing Babic, presented numerous cases in which officers did something out of character, in most cases resulting in criminal charges that didn’t lose their jobs despite the illegality of their actions.

Among them a police captain who admitted to drinking and driving when he was involved in a hit and run, an officer accused of an incident of road rage, an officer who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after a charge of domestic abuse fifth-degree was dismissed, and an officer found guilty of providing false statements in court 17 years ago. Then-Police Chief Doyle Barker had sought termination, but the commission opted for suspension and training.

What you want to get punched in the face twice and elbowed every time you get pulled.

However, a CNN reporter who happened to be in the crowd Thursday says Newman “was not resisting” arrest as he was led away from the crowd by a police officer:

“That officer, Chadd said, then suddenly hooked the suspect around the leg, grabbed him and ‘slammed him face first into the ground.’

‘It was like a bowling ball hitting the ground, that’s how bad it was,’ he said.”

I like the show Cops, but one thing that really makes me upset is when cops knock the crap out of a suspect for no reason. It usually happens when they do drug set ups. The undercover cop will buy or sell drugs and then as the suspect is walking away a bunch of cops will swarm a suspect. The suspect is caught by surprise and usually just stands there and then a cop will just tackle the shit out of him from behind.

Look i get someone is running away, reaching for something, looking like they might act aggressively or resisting but there is no reason to just tackle the shit out of someone that just committed a minor and non violent crime. Its ridiculous.
