NFL Players Weigh In On Haynesworth SituationNYCskinfan82 07-16-2010, 03:40 PM D.C. Sports Bog - Pete Carroll's Seahawks were interested in Haynesworth (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2010/07/pete_carrolls_seahawks_were_in.html#more) Dirtbag59 07-18-2010, 07:14 PM UPDATE: That big weight loss that Albert Haynesworth has undergone this offseason, as described below? Yeah, apparently it might not be with the best intentions. Don Banks of Sports Illustrated pondered 20 burning questions recently, and in considering Haynesworth's bitter situation in D.C., noted that "now we learn that Haynesworth is reportedly losing weight in an effort to make himself less valuable as a nose tackle in Shanahan's 3-4 formation and force a trade." Wow. And here we thought he was just trying out to be in the next Nutrisystem commercial. Lol, I wouldn't put it past him. However I'm confused does the 30 pound weight loss make Haynesworth 320 or 335? I remember Smootsmack saying something about how he gained 15 pounds when the offseason started. skinsfan_nn 07-18-2010, 07:21 PM Don't know if any of this is true, but I would have to think if he thinks losing weight is going to "force a trade". He is dumber than I thought. He will do exactly what he is told if he shows up this month or they will get exactly what they want, into fat boys purse! NYCskinfan82 07-18-2010, 07:24 PM The thing that makes me say hmmmmm! is his trainner said he is going to turn heads now if he dosen't that guy will never find another client. HTTR. artmonkforhallofamein07 07-19-2010, 12:25 AM All this conjecture from a bunch of people who dont even know this guy. Including all of us! Is it July 29th yet? :) artmonkforhallofamein07 07-19-2010, 12:27 AM I am just sick of all this news concerning him when we have so much to be thankful for as Skins fans this year. SICK OF IT FAT AL! HAIL! Monkeydad 07-19-2010, 12:09 PM If Kemo comes in healthy, we could use him at NT and AH at DE I suppose. Of course, if AH can play effectively at NT at a lower weight because he's in better shape...fine. Definitely a wait and see with this one. Mechanix544 07-19-2010, 12:15 PM ah ... fat piece of shit who only cares about what is going to better himself. And likes to run over teenage kids and paralyze them...but he's rich and famous so he'll never go to jail. **** this guy... I hope he never gets to play in the NFL again. Same for Micheal Vick...both are class A pieces of SHIT. Tell us how you really feel. CultBrennan59 07-20-2010, 01:28 AM If Kemo comes in healthy, we could use him at NT and AH at DE I suppose. I would agree with this; If Kemo is 100% put AH at DE and Kemo at NT. If Kemo isn't 100% either A) start AH at NT until Kemo is healthy B) start gholston at NT until Kemo is healthy C) start AH at NT for the whole season and rotate kemo SkinzWin 07-20-2010, 02:01 AM Shaun Phillips from the Chargers was just on NFL live and was asked to pick his own "Big 3". He said on defense he would take Chris Jenkins, Albert Haynesworth, and Julius Peppers. Then the other guys started to razz him about his situation in DC and how he doesn't want to play the nose. They asked him what he thought about the situation and he said for that money he would play any position. Then went into a little more depth about it. Interesting stuff. I'll post the video as soon as it is available on espn.com |
