He was unhappy with the terms of the loan and stayed away from mandatory payments in protest.

UPDATE: Andrew Auger of the blog 12th Man Rising writes that a trade sending Albert Haynesworth from the Washington Redskins to the Seattle Seahawks could come soon, with a fourth- or fifth-round pick potentially being enough to get the deal done.

Translation, please pay back the bonus money. From a pure talent standpoint he should easily command a first or second round pick. However from a locker room standpoint he's worth a 6th or 7th round pick. Split the difference and you end up with a 4th or 5th.

Trade him to Edmonton. Let him enjoy the winter.

He'd probably like that. Summer Training Camp only last 2 weeks in Edmonton. Coincidently summer in Canada last 2 weeks. Maybe 2.5 weeks in a good year.

No! No more paydays for this douchebag!!

If he pays back the money fine, otherwise let him stay home and rot. I don't want this guy getting another NFL dime in his lifetime.

I'd take offense, if it weren't so true... :(

AH will have the nflpa's support when it comes to the skins trying to get any money back from him. At the same time, I would think that some in the nflpa are not happy w/his behavior, fearing that the owners will look at this as a prime example of how contracts can be such a risk for them w/virtually no means of getting a return on their investment if a player refuses to cooperate.

Oh yeah you know the nflpa is not happy with him, he will cost alot of players $$$$ down the line. selfish selfish selfish.
