If this is true I'd by happy if the team would Keyshawn his ass for the whole season, give him a year to get in even worse shape and then finally cut him (after the 2011) lock out. I know it wouldn't make much sense financially but I doubt we'll get a fair return on a trade so screw it.

We could do him a solid like Reid did McNabb and trade him to the Eagles for our 2nd rounder back. lol.

Naw, lets just trade him to the Rams. I don't think they use the 3-4.

Maybe it would make sense financially. Maybe the message this would send could pay for itself. Players would no longer take their pay checks for granted and agents would realize that they can no longer get away with asking for outrageous contracts during negotiations.

Thats what I thought to, but obviously it looks like I was wrong. I'll be damned all the ESPN Insider talk was right.

:( I thought the insider talk was a bunch of hooey. I guess I am still hoping that he decides to show. If not than that is a serious bs move by AH.

The agent seems to be a pretty damn reliable source. If it's NOT true, then that's one new agent he'll be getting...

I agree about the agent, but it still is the WP reporting it, and I hope they are wrong. An awful lot of quotes though, and pretty clear statements.

I just hate this whole thing. Seriously, think of the worst thing that could possibly happen to you and then ask yourself if you'd take forty million dollars for it...99% of us would at least CONSIDER it. BUT THIS IS HIS JOB.

He became the highest paid defensive player in history and then wants to jump ship because things are different. What a bitch.

This is sort of funny for me. I got such flack for posting links to LaCanfora's articles about AH/trade talk at the end and now this guy does indeed want out for sure. It wasn't that hard to figure out the guy was looking to take a hike, especially after being a no show for the OTAs for a new regime/system. Can't blame AH, he took the money, can't blame Shanny and Allen, they didn't acquire him. The shit can be layed soley at the feet of Cerrato and Snyder for paying the man such a ridiculous sum of money, and hiring such a waste of space for a HC. This is what Snyder gets for running such a pathetic operation all of these years. IF anything this should end Snyder's addiction to paying ridiculous salaries.

There are many qualities Shanahan exhibited in his tenure at Denver that were less than laudatory - tremendous ego, blame shifting, personnel choices...

Being a wuss-assed coach afraid of his players was NOT one of those qualities.

Big Al is gonna be the Big Loser in this one. I was fine with him missing voluntary camp, hey, it's voluntary. But this is the big FU to Shanahan and Allen. Give it a shot Al, see how it works for you. Allen has already said he never would have signed Haynesworth for the deal he got from [blechhh] Cerrato. I just don't see Shanahan and Allen caring what Haynesworth chooses to do.

(BTW - Whenever I think of Cerrato, I throw up a little. Anyone else have this reaction?)

I just don't see Haynesworth forcing a trade on anything other than Shanahan's terms - i.e. salary cap relief and quality picks &/or players. IMHO Shanallen will gladly let Al pay back his bonus in fines.

"It's going to be a distraction" - Oh really?? Not to anybody who wants to stay on the roster. Al: "I am not going to play for you!"; Shanallen: "Okay, but u aint playing for anybody else either. Anybody else 'not want to play' for me? There's the door."

Haynesworth thinks he is drawing a line in the sand. Hey Al, got news for you, Shanahan was playing hardball when you playing Pop Warner ball.

Al is dead to me. I hope they just back burner him and proceed as if he wasn't even on the team. F' him.
